Neil Sinclair v Henry Coyle

Khan was more skilful and faster, no doubts, but you'd be a long time trying to find a tougher kid than fagan. I think it would have been a good one if the leg didnt break. And furthermore, Fagan went the distance with Chavez Jr, who's a bigger puncher than Khan and he only lost on splits to Spadafora and Kimbrough and wasn't KO'd by anyone else in his career, so I don't think Khan would have blown him away at all. Come on- it wasn't even a "twisted" ankle, like what made Benn quit when he fought Collins but a broken leg and Fagan still got up to fight until they stopped it.

I think Sinclair will prove too much for Henry, but it should be a good one. He's too big a puncher and I thought Henry struggled against that smaller, Russian kid in Mayo. I shudder to think what would happen if Sinky hits him with all his power. Although, Henry might be too hungry. Looking forward to it.

I would say it has something to do with the ranking of each fighter but im not sure im sure theres some way of finding out how each fight is graded

I was talking to Oisin before the Dunne fight in Dublin and in previous interviews and he is gutted about the Khan defeat and resulting injury (which has left a nasty scar running up his leg). I hope he gets a scrap with Murray or a decent one soon, although the doctors are holding him back at the moment despite his recovery being ahead of schedule.

I've not seen Coyle but judging by his record he has KO wins against some terrible opposition in the Mid West tank towns, a points win against an Eastern European lightweight, a man who has been stopped against non punchers Dawes and O'Donnell, and his loss came in a round against an average guy.
Sinclair can be erratic, is on the slide but also a proven banger who has always mixed in good class. Barring cuts this looks like an early night for Sinky

if the rogan v sexton fight goes the distance , we certainly wont see all of it. hopefully the olympians fights will finish early so we might see some of it. the rogan fight finishing early would help as well.

i would not be surprised if we dont see it at all. when the last olympian bill was on we did not get to see the broadhurst fight or bendall v mcdermott. they just showed skelton v rogan and the olympians and none of the rest of the card.

Sadly i have to agree with you about fagan , i would love to see him challenge for the irish title against murray , whisch i think hed lose. As for coyle , although i think he has a good chance of beating sinky i dont think he will progress past domestic level , unless a miricale happens.
Coyle v sinky could be the fight of the night and probably wont be shown . I know id prefer to see coyle v sinky than see the olympians beat up lesser opponents.
If i was going id be chuffed theres plenty of irish talent on show unlike the time hayemaker came here

I watched Coyle on RTE against Savrinovics the tough Latvian last year and he looked pretty decent. Throws some good combos and he's been putting plenty of journeymen down in the US which we can see from his record of 9 KO's from 10 wins.

Coyle also has over 200 amateur fights and was the 2004 Irish champion, so even though Sinclair has plenty of experience and fought at the much higher level, experience may not play a huge part.

I know the bookies have it close and I think Sinclair might take it because he gave a good showing of himself in Italy against Petrucci who's ranked in many people's top 20 welterweights in the world and if he rediscovers his power which he didnt have that night, I think Sinclair may stop Coyle, who I'm uncertain about because he's fought a lot of weak opponents and lost his third or fourth pro fight.

Coyle was badly wobbled in the first, put down at end of 2nd, and stopped in 3rd. It was a little too easy. I wanted Coyle to lose but not in that fashion, he was crying on his way back to the changing room, which was very touching. I think Neil has proved he should be higher in your p4p list."
