I dont think Hatton is shot. He is as good as he ever was. Its just he is not an elite fighter, never has been never will be.

In my view he is Tony Sibson, without the dig.

I agree. Hatton is not shot at all. He's probably at his peak, he looked as good as he has ever looked in the Malignaggi fight. However he is just a poor poor fighter at top level. It's that simple guys.

I think Khan would have a real chance against Hatton because of the styles and the presence of Roach in the corner. But if Hatton touches Khan, it could be over so with all Khan fights, there is an element of risk involved in picking Khan to win.

Khan's like Maccarinelli to a degree - living on borrowed time. Once he really steps up in class he will be slapped down again.

Hatton v Khan

Post by MightyWarrior »

If Khan wins his title, and that's a big if, I reckon this fight is almost a dead cert to happen.

Hatton wont want to go out the way he did, and they'll see Khan as a very tempting route to a world title: a golden chance to retire at the top, with a huge crowd cheering him into the sunset.
Hatton and co wont see too many fighters with a big name, as vunerable as Khan, and he'll figure to walk right through him.

And Khan will see the chance of grabbing another big name for his record, a fighter who's probably past it, but not so much that it'll stop the crowds and TV companies lining up to watch.
And a massive payday for both.

Of course Khan's got a real fight on his hands first, but if he wins this a very good bet to happen.

Khan has the kind of style to give Hatton nightmares and is still way off his prime. IMO the Khan that beat MAB vs the Hatton that lost to PBF wins every time and now with Roach in his corner its even easier. I am no Khan nut hugger but just believe he is seriously underated and i like the kids attitude towards the sport.

Khan has the style to beat Hatton how? His inability to take a body shot? His need to drop to the canvas when someone connects on him? The way his body shudders when hit square with a jab?

Amazing how Khan stays out of danger versus a blind old man & now hes world class. I look forward to June 27th when the circus gets shut down.

When has he been hurt by a body shot?

Maybee then promoters can get back to building up good fighters instead off personalitys.
prime example of a fan not realising what his idol is,& getting him confused with what he was.

it's like your dad getting old & grey becoming abit disabled, you still see him as the strong man from your youth knowing he no longer is  ,in boxing you dont have long to delve over such things, but haft to appreciate that person for getting that respect.

peace in the middle east, one love im out 8)

Hatton is not and never was my idol , i have said for years , he has had an easy road to the top , but never the less he has been at the top and mixed it with the best , then fell short when in with the super elite and AT THIS STAGE he would still walk through Khan , couple off years time if he's still around maybee not but for now HATTON WALKS THROUGH PLANTS ONE ON HIS CHIN AND GOODNIGHT KHAN

Roach is a good trainer but he can't train a chin that is'nt there .

Khan has most thing apart froma chin.

If he can hit Hatton before Hatton hits him he can beat him, Wricky might be finsihed.
He is not a puncher either, I think Hatton would def win this

LOL at some people. All Hatton needs in this fight is one chance to land something half decent vs a guy with no chin and no defence. People are talking like Khan is capable of doing to Hatton what Manny did. Hatton landed a couple vs Pac, so how won't he land against Khan? Hatton by crushing KO, and I would love this fight to happen just so the knowledgeless press can romanticise it as the inevitable Warren fuelled 'changing of the guard' scenerio only for Hatton to spoil the party and wreck Khan, then retire happy and Warren's stable crushed.

I'm getting a hardon just thinking about it.

this is if he get's past kotelink.

hattons burnt out, khan would beat him.

hatton is fragile & is dead @ lww,the well is well dry.

I don't personally see Hatton winning this. He's tailor made for Khan, short arms and legs, comes in, doesn't have one punch power. And he didn't look too quick last time out did he.

I see Khan obliterating Hatton in 5.

You know if took quickly ,This would be a huge fight , probably Franks BIGGEST payday . on Khan ever , because if Ricky Retires thats one MASSIVE fight gone, Now 6-12 months down the track Ricky may retire and write a book, get a comedy show, and become a celebrity, Then he will not come back .

But a fight for some, ANY world title, would become massive for Hatton , andf not only that , Ricky in destroying Khan , gets SHITLOADS of publicity for his new future , promotions and management..

NOW IS THE TIME. tO BENEFIT RICKY , DON'T KNOW IF FWEANK WOULD WANT IT HE'S NOT STUPID .

Also been known to throw challenges about for publicity. But then again MASSIVE payday

Both true.

Even Billy Graham said if it were not for Hattons laces coming undone, Hatton was on the verge!

'Eyes in orbit'

Khan hits sharper than Lazcano!

If the Pacman fight is anything to go by, speed kiils and Khan is quick if nothing else. It's strange because before the Pacman fight I would of said Khan had no chance but no I doubt Ricky, rightly or wrongly, completely now, it's hard not to.
