I believe most people think that Haye should be above Froch, which is a reasonable point of view. However, I am a member of the sizable minority who thinks that Froch should be above Haye. I don't really think that is a ridiculous opinion.Finch wrote:Horse wrote: 3. (3.) Carl Froch

Re: British Top 30 P4P June 2009
I have never heard as much bulls**t, Rees was inactive for over a year and was still in the list, Elcock has lost 4 of his fights and is in the top 30 and Murray has never been beaten and he isn't in the list.Horse wrote:Murray fell out because of inactivity. Murray will re-enter, quite possibly above Duddy, if he beats Lawton this month. I would favour Murray if he fought Rees, although I would give Rees a decent chance.

Yes, but I didn't want Sexton in the top 20, which I would have had to do to keep Rogan above Skelton.crusader wrote:No, but he did get knocked out by Rogan.Rogan lost to Sexton, which was a poor result, so he had to move down. Skelton has not lost to the likes of Sexton.

Yes, he is too high. I should have dropped him further down after he lost his European title. Although I wouldn't have him too many places lower.metropol wrote:napa is too high also

Re: British Top 30 P4P June 2009
Rees was in the top 10 after winning the WBA title, so it has taken a while for him to fall towards the bottom. Murray was never very high in the list, so it didn't take him long to fall out.brian13 wrote:I have never heard as much bulls**t, Rees was inactive for over a year and was still in the list,Horse wrote:Murray fell out because of inactivity. Elcock has fought better fighters than Murray has. I don't see what being undefeated has to do with being in the list or not.brian13 wrote:Elcock has lost 4 of his fights and is in the top 30 and Murray has never been beaten and he isn't in the list.

No Olusugun, even though he is fighting for the British title this month and has based himself in the UK for sometime and beaten so good names.
Yes, I am sure he will be "considered" after the Morrison fight - but why not before. He's been active.

Majority rules, or we could all put our top 30 lb4lb rankings up and spam the board.Horse wrote:I believe most people think that Haye should be above Froch, which is a reasonable point of view. His last fight was less than 7 months ago, so in that way he is still active.TheGoods wrote:brian13 wrote:

Re: British Top 30 P4P June 2009
Even if I did consider Olusegun British before, his record would only suggest a lower 21-30 ranking at best. His best opponent in the last 12 months is Haywood, which is not really top 30 calibre.stujones wrote:No Olusugun, even though he is fighting for the British title this month and has based himself in the UK for sometime and beaten so good names.

If he beats Morrison then he will be a strong contender for a place in the rankings next month.

Not really. Active would be if he wasn't retired.Horse wrote:His last fight was less than 7 months ago, so in that way he is still active.TheGoods wrote:brian13 wrote:

Re: British Top 30 P4P June 2009
It is too late to change it now, as I only found out that Haye was generally considered to be above Froch P4P after I made the decision.Finch wrote:Majority rules, or we could all put our top 30 lb4lb rankings up and spam the board.Horse wrote:I believe most people think that Haye should be above Froch, which is a reasonable point of view. If other people want to put up their own P4P lists then that is up to them.

I found it disrespectful. Perhaps I am misinterpreting the intentions of Finch in using that name.Asterix wrote:Pedro is just word like mate, dude, hombre, etc.
