Neither Limond nor Koletnik hit hard - Khan will be ten times more careful against Koletnik and will keep it on the outside throwing fast flurries in my opinion.
Koletnik has KO'd 3 people in his 13 stoppage wins and isn't going to come forward against Khan - I don't see how he is going to win to be honest.

Koletnik of course is going to catch Khan - however - he doesn't have the firepower or the style to beat Khan never mind KO him - it's an opinion many share and you do not - fair enough lets see who is right come fight night!

Post of the thread. Kotelnik won't get near him. Roach'll have drilled him to keep away, keep flurrying & let the judges do the rest.
If Khan wants to run, he's going to have to run all night.
Does he have the stamina for that against a top 10 fighter from the weight division above, a guy who is well versed in championship rounds, staying tight and gutsing out 12 rounds vs actual hitters at 140, as opposed to a blown up 135lb non hitter with no chin, no intricacies of defence, and no championship experience?
Khan has never fought a top 10 fighter from his own weight division, let alone the one above! But I'm sure getting decked by Gomez and Limond is great experience and preparation for winning this one.

So what? So it proves it doesn't take a big puncher to hurt Khan, thus refuting all your criticisms of Kotelniks KO power. I think you forgot we are dealing with Amir Khan, a man with possibly the worst chin of any notable boxer. I think Khan will outpoint Kotelnik with speed, but for you to laugh at the suggestion that Kotelnik can KO Khan shows you dont have a good understanding of either fighter.
Kotelnik isnt a big puncher but he has good technique you dont have to be a big puncher to put someone down and if you catch Khan clean there is every chance he will go down and maybe even out i think Kotelnik will be to clever for him and outpoint him widely with Khan being down a few times
You know though in all fairness he was fighting pro at a early age ,Some guys just take time too mature and when they do there chin matures with them , but then again some do not, wait and see, but regardless at least he a success story he's made money , lets hope he looks after it (the money that is)
Agree, Counter Puncher. And I certainly can't see how Khan can go twelve rounds without switching off. Kotelnik's low workrate will give Khan an early lead - if he gets complacent then he will switch off. If he switches off, I think Kotelnik will punish him.
Either Kotelnik KO9 or Khan KO5 are the two bets I am putting on at the bookies.

You can't expect credit for your prediction that Barrera would beat Khan. The 'being nutted' was the whole story of the fight, but you probably saw a masterclass from Khan when everyone else saw him landing at will on a defenceless blind man, with said blind man buckling Khan's legs in the fifth before it was conveniently stopped.
Newsflash: Warren has nowhere to go now. He had to pull something out of the bag for Khan, so he pulled out the weakest guy he could see with a title he could dress up as 'world championship'. Says a lot about Khan and his promoter that the weakest guy they could see is the first top ten fighter Khan will face and by far the toughest fight of his career.
But obviously that's all too easy for a guy knocked down by Michael Gomez and Willie Limond.
