keep a eye out for junior saeed..lad made his pro debut last Saturday...came out on a segway scooter..super bantam 6ft with decent power ..fast hands ,cant see any super bantam beaten him his reach is phenomenal ..when he settles into the pros he will be giving people nightmares.

Ronnie Heffron - yet to have a pro fight but he will 100 percent be a domestic star of the future. Great am credentials and a cracking style for the pros

He looks strong, but didn't show much more. Not impressed with him in the clip provided. Just my opinion though.

this clip doesnt do him credit as he is fair better boxer and has a good amatuer brackground. I read a few good things about him before he turned pro and believe he was a ABA champion.

trever was a treat to watch in the amatures.he was a proper power house 'one who you thought watch this kid' lacs a bit of class. but boy can he have a scrap.he can go far certainly british' poss uropean.

I like the look of one of the Walsh brothers, think it might be Liam the lightweight.

And another unpopular one, Derek Chisora to go further than Tyson Fury in the pro ranks.

I agree Chisora will go further than Fury. Fury hasnt impressed me so far his 2 best performances were against Ellis and Belshaw he looked good but they looked terrible. Also Dickinson hasnt impressed me at all his brother looks poor as well.

The Olympian who has impressed me most is Frankie Gavin I thought he would take a while to adapt but he hasnt his angles are good and his hand speed is very good I think he will go all the way.

Keep an eye out for THOMAS DORAN, I mentioned him here as an amateur and he's just gone 2-0 as a pro.

This lad is pure class, is 21 years old with a good dig, good chin and plenty of skill.

PS Quigg is quality, as is Stephen Smith........some good young fighters emerging up here in the north west though am sure there are plenty down south as well, as mentioned

PPS I don't think Chisora will go further than Fury as a pro, though the jury is still out.

Nathan Cleverly gets my vote. He is getting better with every fight.

He can shut a fighter down - and his punch is beginning to put them down.

Some say he`s the next Calzaghe. I believe he will be better than Joe.

Enzo Calzaghe once said in response to Froch calling Joe out, that Froch had no chance against Joe and that Cleverly would beat Froch ... I believe him.

Some big claims there, is this the same Enzo calzghe who championed Enzo Macc?

Cleverly while looking stylish so far and does loko a good propsect wouldnt last 5 rounds with the likes of Froch at this stage. Levels and levels and Nathan still has a way to go yet.

We've got some really promising fighters coming through at the moment, but it's probably going to take them a couple of years before they fill the shoes of the retiring old guard. I think there are some who are fringe world class already, like Cleverly and Brook, and others who are definitely headed there but need about another 10-15 fights. There's obviously Gavin, Saunders, Degale, Sutherland & co., then coming behind them there is the likes of Groves, Smith, Price, Fury and Bellew. Hopefully among them there'll be a couple of Hatton/Calzaghe level fighters who compete at the very highest level, though it's very hard to predict at this stage. Whichever way you look at it, though, it's a pretty exciting time for British boxing.

seen froch and cleverley both in the flesh, at similar stages in their career (early brit title level)

mate i only got to 2 days at edgbaston in the end. fortunatley they were the good days 8)

yeah shame bout that result..i had to pass my tickets for the sat at the oval by, they wanted 200 quid a ticket, guessing touts dont do refunds for rain.

Other thing was if i went on the sat it meant that i probably wouldnt make it up to my old club to catch the lads (blackheath) so made the decision to blow it out and catch up with old mates instead.
