If WBO will strip Hopkins and let Sturm fight for the title, it is a good reason not to give a shit about Sturm, WBO and Kohl.
Without Kohl your national hero DM would be a door man in Krakow.

Without the likes of DM your national hero Kohl would be a doorman in Hamburg.
Only 9 out of his 26 boxers are German. And those 9 include Felix Sturm (birth name Adrian Catic

), Alexander Petkovic and Luan Krasniqi (born in Kosovo). So there are 6 out of 26 left in fact.

Kohl would have done it also without DM. in the 90´s he also had the 2 Rockys, Bott, Weller,Grigorian, then Gomez the Klitschkos etc.. maybe 2 or 3 millions would be missing. Kohl has become one of the biggest with the Klitschkos and the big tV contracts because of them. DM has never been so popular like Maske or Rocky in Germany, who were also peoples champions. in germany DM has always was been the pollack. he hasn´t been adored.
BTW I like DM very much. when i was living in Hamburg I met him from time to time. he is a fine normal guy, who has had his family problems like we all have...... and there was a time when he was disappointed that he wasn´t that popular and beloved like Rocky(West Germany) or Maske(East Germany). this is one reason why he is now fighting under the polish flag. the other reason is his business in poland. i have a lot of respect for DM.
Concerning Kohls boxers I only have to say that in a modern europe i don´t give a fornicate what nationality his boxers have. Kohl and Sauerland have been making Germany to the 2nd biggest boxing market of the world. we have a lot of interesting bouts every week. we have multiple world-title-fights every year. rather every week there is a big tv broadcast with a world- or a euro-title and several good fights on free-tv. Kohl and Sauerland also invest a lot of money in younger talents who are still amateurs like eg. Tajbert.
go 30 years back. there was nothing but waking up in the middle of the night and watching Ali.
