Captain pedantic strikes again!

That new arena at Caesar's looks cool. I want to try and get to the Klitchsko v Williams fight....depends on what the undercard's like though.

I'd like to go, but I have a nursery to decorate!

i.e. cant see Williams v Klitschko fitting into the parenting budget.

Ikea flat pack, quick bit of allen key work, off to airport.

You know you can stay in Vegas for about 70 quid a week? Flight is the big killer bout 300 sheets.

The new outdoor arena looks great. So I guess it must be Wlad fighting the crystal chinned Williamson there Oct 2nd.

I don't have any kids, so I don't know the going rates. I am toying with selling my mum so I can go to the fight, though. Any offers? She's easy going, has a piece of good old fashioned commonsence advice for any occasion, makes a lovely cup of tea and is a demon with the hoover. Specialities include: forgetting what it is you do for a living and asking why you don't wear nice smart shirts and shoes when you go out, like your mates. Would suit single proffessional who needs running around after and occasionally disapproving of. :D

She's sounds perfect, I'll take her.

Does she also act as an acute and repeated siren for the benefits of sending off your driving licence, insurance, loan request...insert paperwork as appropriate...promptly on an hourly basis even if she lives 200 miles away?

Yes?

Ah...got one of those..

Back everyone :TU: Got back last night and i was f*****g knackered!! Anyway the fight was great, i was in the nosebleed seats but i was secretely rooting for the executioner and everyone else seemed like they were going for Oscar! Anyway i have not read up on the fight yet or heard anything about it, the end was a mystery to most people at the fight where i was sitting.

I thought personally that Hopkins was well in control at the point of the stoppage and i quietly had him ahead. Most of the other people has DLH ahead but it seemed like bias, everytime DLH threw a shot there was a deafening cheer but i honestly thought he wasn't landing an awful lot. Hopkins seemed more clinical and his jab was solid, i think he was ahead at the point of the stoppage.

It was awkward to work out what was happening at the end of the fight, it appeared DLH was hit low at first and someone behind me was shouting that Hopkins had used a knee to the groin but on the replays i didn't see that happening. It seemed a good body shot but perhaps landing with the wrist or the inside of the hand...others thought DLH had thrown the fight because he got up so quickly after the count and supposed agony.

I enjoyed the undercard although some morons persisted in loudly booing Marquez-Salido which i thought was quite an intense battle, Marquez boxed within himself and Salido tried hard but most were unimpressed, i liked the fight. There were big gaps between fights so an early KO would have meant an even longer wait to the main event

Jantuah-Rubio was good though, that shot came out of the blue and i thought it was a left hook, the guy behind me was convinced it was a right hand which it was on the big screen. But i thought that the screen picture was back to front so i stand by it being as left hook! The other undercard fight i saw was that kid Carney Bowman...he was the lad i shook hands after the weigh in...i like to think my "good luck" helped him win the fight

I'm in Arizona on business the week before the Klit fight. Wasn't @rsed about going but looking at the auditorium may stay for the weekend and nip up to Vegas. It would only be the 13th time I've been to Vegas...

13 times experiencing that moment arriving back in the windy and wet UK. Is there a more depressing and soul-sapping feeling? :D
