Macklin V Barker will be good, and on free TV (5/9)

McDermott V Fury will be worth watching (if it goes ahead) (11/9)

Sexton V Rogan Rematch (9/10)

Then it's Froch (17/10)

There is a smattering of English title fights that I might watch, if I'm free, but won't go out of my way to watch.

But really- thats FIVE fights in three months. I know it's the quiet season, so to speak, but even so... Can British boxing do no better than this?

I was really looking forward to seeing Thaxton vs Murray but I only see it going 1 way now if it happens also Macklin-Barker will be very intresting, Chisora vs Williams if that happens will be good to see if Chisora can deal with Williams or will he be too inexpierenced

Yeah- for sure, it's a decent fight- and I'm sure that if I watch it, I'll enjoy watching it. but equally, if I miss it, no big deal.
Same with brodie, Macklin and Rogan fights.

The only two fights I really want to see are the Tyson Fury one, and the Wrodl title one .

Woods v Cloud. Two points to make though. 1. 'Good fights with Britons overseas' have always been a rarity - in fact, we've had more in the last couple of years than usual.

2. You've listed some good domestic fights already; others have added more. More will be made too because, as you say, it's the quiet time.

Absolutely. The quality of the matches in Prizefighter is pretty sh*te really but a lot of people love it because:

a) mostly even matches
b) two men trying their best

It's not a difficult formula but there's too many self-interested people about to make it a regularity.

I'll go out on a limb here and say Davies Vs Napa is gonna be one of the fights of the year mark my words..Davies won't stop and Napa is very skilfull!! It all hindges on what Napa has left and how much Davies can keep his cool!! I do know that Davies is willing to go as far as any other man in that ring though that's why I feel this fight will be one to remember..

i think in the davies vs napa fight its gonna be an all out war and hopefully gary takes his heart but im confident its going to be a non stop war cant wait.
