Pacman is not p4p anything!

Post by DG. »

The guy can barely box! :D

PBF would decision him or stop hit to the body.

Mosley would KO him.

He lost TWICE to JMM!!

He beat an old Barrera - lost to Morales when Morales still had fire in him.

He beat Hatton....SO???

Get in the ring with Mosley and PBF and he will be 0-2!

Do you not have Pacquiao in your P4P top 10?

Will Pacquiao be a P4P something if he beats Cotto?

Getting beat twice off of JMM is just your opinion. He crushed Morales twice in rematches and was the reason 'El Terrible' was shot to hell against David Diaz. Barrera went on to claim big wins long after his loss to Pacquiao and nobody ever layed a beating on him like Manny did. If Ricky was so terrible how did he win rounds against PBF?
Oscar also landed probably as many blows against Manny as JMM did against Floyd the other night.
Oh and wasn't Mosley struggling with Ricardo Mayorga until he delivered a final second KO???? As great a fighter as Mayorga is n' all. :-?
You can use facts to support any argument. The fact is that Manny is a former FLYWEIGHT champion who has defeated Barrera, Morales (twice), JMM, Hatton and ODLH! He deserves to be where he is. :TU:

Mayweather would run rings round him&make him look very ordinary
Mosley would beat him on points but nowhere near as convincing
also i think Cotto will be to strong for him&stop him late

Just my opinion :TU:

I think he is a top 3 p4p fighter at the moment he KO'd a tough David Diaz then beat an albeit weight drained De La Hoya and then beat a natural LWW in Hatton and demolished him he is a very talented boxer. I agree he probably wouldnt beat Mosely or Mayweather but there is no shame in that he is still a very good boxer to move up from Flyweight to Light Welter weight is an achievement in its self but to win titles and beat very good boxers is highly impressive :TU:

Boxing does not work like that.

Pacman is NOT in my top 10 as a boxer. he can nt box, but he can 'fight' - PBF and Mosley would each him a lesson!

As would a 147lbs cotto!

My argument is a 70% Morales beat him.

Barrera was not what he was and what big wins after?

The boy can not box for toffee, lets see him raise his hands in the air after mosley hits him, he would get stretched with his hands in the air.

Pacman is only now begining to attempt to box.

PBF UD12 or late KO

SSM wins by K0 and early!

Floyd has not regained his P4P no. 1 spot by bullying a SMALLER fighter in a boring performance - which is what he did the other night. Pac has earned the top spot by bulling BIGGER fighters in sensational performances.

Pac is faster than Floyd, hits harder and throws bombs from crazy angles which would seriously test even Floyd's defensive skills. P4P Pac is better, but as Floyd seems to have bulked up during his "retirement" his probable in-ring weight advantage of about 10 pounds might even things out in an actual fight. This thread is about P4P, however, and whichever way you look at it, Pac is ahead. More titles in more weight classes, more future Hall of Famers fought and defeated. And, last but not least, Pac ducks no-one.

This is rubbish, Pacman can't box  tell ODLH that. As he knew Oscar was bigger than him, he boxed his ears off, weight drained or not.

Plus you're talking P4P, and then saying he can't beat Mosley or PBF, so what they are bigger than him, he is at a disadvantage from the off against them. Most top Middleweights would beat Mosley and PBF but that doesn't mean they're not P4P material.

If they were the same size it would be a very close call against either.

Floyd regained no. 1 spot even before he fought JMM, as soon as he came out of retirement. What he showed yet again on Sat night was that he is far and away the greatest boxer of this generation. He would humiliate Manny.

You've completely misunderstood my post and the thread topic, i.e. the concept of "pound for pound". Nor have you backed up your statement with any reasoned argument - Mayweather's performance on Saturday night did nothing for his pound for pound status.

Barrera went on to beat Ayala, Morales, Fana, Peden and Juarez (twice) before dropping a split decision to JMM. Saying he was not what he was is a mute point. You could just as easily say that about all of Mayweather's opponents.

How do you fathom that Morales was 70%?

And Shane would blow him out early? :o

What's that based on? He hasn't won a fight early in over 8 years and fighters like David Estrada and Luis Collazo have taken him the distance without even getting rocked.

I guess I filed your whole argument under 'FAIL' when you came out with the hum-dinger :

"The boy can not box for toffee....." :KO:

That's a joke statement right there.
