Prizefighter HW's *spoilers*
Re: Prizefighter HW's *spoilers*
Fraudely has picked some good shots today to be fair to him, he is still a lazy ******* though

Barrett won the boxing fans respect today.Cannibal wrote:Haha, look at the MASS exit from the building after the Harrison win. Here comes the "Next world champion" interview.
A 6'1" upjumped crusierweight novice BULLYING a 6'5" natural heavyweight olympic gold medalist for most of the fight was hilarious though.

The credit was when i said 'spectacular KO'.. and that's as far as am going.BIGMARK wrote:come on give the guy some credit, he showed some balls there and although he should beat fighters like Barrett every day still its a win and a KO.jBacca wrote:Fraudley with a spectacular KO, but he was bloody awful. Hope he gets beaten in his next fight and retires.
Re: Prizefighter HW's *spoilers*
Wonder if he will call out David Haye in the post fight interview? Apparently he's fallen out with him after Haye beat him up in sparring a couple of years ago!
Re: Prizefighter HW's *spoilers*
I went for Williams, thinking that his own weak chin would be strong in a 3 round format. Usually gets stunned in mid rounds recently. Thought he would have the power to beat Audley.
Well Danny should retire, gutted that Barratt lost in chilling fashion. I want to see more of him... hopefully at Cruiserweight. He's got alot of skill, spirit and intelligence. Harrison still fights scared - something that will never be not taught... and when he steps up, his get out of jail card - which is what he needed against a young, inexperienced cruiserweight, will not be there. His power is good, but not world class.

Re: Prizefighter HW's *spoilers*
barratt deserved it after the butt
Re: Prizefighter HW's *spoilers*
He did ok - pretty low level fights though. I still see a Rogan winning more rounds than him because he goes into his shell at anything above D level.
Re: Prizefighter HW's *spoilers*
Nice touch by Audley in the interview.
Re: Prizefighter HW's *spoilers*
Very nice touch by Audley and showed he has some class. What happened with Sprott? I hadn't heard why he pulled out.
Re: Prizefighter HW's *spoilers*
can you imagine the uproar if it was audley who headbutted barrett disgrace an he deserved to get stopped the way he did because of it
Yes he can Haha

Even me ma was laughing at that..!boxrec wrote:Well audley has done some good, he's dedicating the trophy to sprott, and wants to do some charity auction.
On the flip side, he reckons the bbc forced him out of the country!
Re: Prizefighter HW's *spoilers*
Sprott's sister died during the run up. Nice touch by Audley... I'll take my hat off to him there.
Whats this about the BBC!!! He was doing a jordan there.... I've got a story to tell, about the BBC - I won't say... they kicked me out of the country... won't say what????

He made hard work of that(as usual). Fair play for ending it so emphatically though.
I have been racking my brain ever since I laid eyes on Barrett as to who he reminds me of.
If you have ever watched Star Stories, a fella called Harry Peacock(he played Bono)is the absolute spitting image of him!

Yeah, I think Audley deserves some credit for tonight and his comments in the post fight interview. Let's see what happens next. I suspect he'll remain at domestic level rather than moving up to European or World level but you never know.

McD vs Fury winner?BIGMARK wrote:nice touch by Audley and lets hope he at least gets in the British title mix now. He cant afford to take too much time off and i have always believed he is a confidence fighter which this may give him. I cant see him fighting above euro level but wouldnt be surprised to see him win the British title
Skelton?
Re: Prizefighter HW's *spoilers*
I think if Sexton shows himself to be fitter against Rogan than in match 1 (doesn't look like its on Sky) - then I think he beats Audley.BIGMARK wrote:nice touch by Audley and lets hope he at least gets in the British title mix now. I'd tip Fury to beat Audley, but think Audley beats McDermott.
Re: Prizefighter HW's *spoilers*
Fair play to Audley. Definitely showed something tonight, and the dedication was classy.
I don't think anyone doubts that he has skill and power it's just that he's so boring over 10 rnds. Needs to be more aggressive and I'd happily watch his fights. Looked good on the front foot. But like the Watt said, the at this level, you'd expect him to do well.

so audley got it right then.
just needs to win a british title now.
something he still hasn't done in over 8 yrs as a pro.

The 3rnd format was always gonna suit a former olympic champ competing against novices and seriously washed up guys :(

Re: Prizefighter HW's *spoilers*
I thought Danny still had enough in the tank to win. The shot that wobbled him, landed on top of his head. He looked pretty good physically but the chin is no longer there. He needs to retire.
Audley won by throwing 10 punches a fight. Can't see where he can go. British title, maybe. Nothing higher than that.

Fraudley finished the fights emphatically, but looked quite average before he did.
