I will give up on what we are not arguing about.

The point I was making was that Shavers, Weaver and Cooney were as big punchers as McCall and Rahman. Nothing about Mr.Larry and Mr.Lew(like that one?) chins. You said we'd compare their best respective knockouts, and besides Lewis; neither Maskaev, Seldon, Meehan nor Sanders can match up to the names I provided. And I didn't see you coming up with any other name to back up McCall and Rahman, meaning that those are really their most significant KO's.

You are such a revisionnist that you'll start the Why Kali Meehan is the greatest thread and you'll come up with shit that you actually believe.

Lewis' chin is gets such a bad rap it is actually underrated. Ask Shannon Briggs, Ruddock, Morrison, Mercer. Ask Bowe. Bowe landed shots in that amateur match that with no telling effect. The only times Lewis took the count EVER, win lose or draw, was the 2 losses. And he was on his feet both times with his hands in a defensive position. Not over his head like goof Bowe who was obviously in bad danger if he continued. Those stops are both at least as justified as the Bowe stop.

Lewis chin, not bad at all. If it was that bad he'd be saddled with more losses/knockdowns, and he's not. The only liability Lewis had was footwork. What's a great chin anyway? Look what it got Oliver McCall. The name of the game is boxing, not chin. Look what footwork got Roy Jones. Lewis was never put down in a life threatening fashion as even some other hall of famers.

Also I don't know the merit of the steroid comment about Lewis, but it's boxing not bodybuilding. Lewis was great when he skinny also. I don't pretend to know his medical portfolio so that's left to the category of specious conjecture.

Lewis was KO'ing boxers at 225 as well as 245. It's not abnormal for a man to gain 20 lbs between age 25 and 39 believe it or not. Not to mention a good half stone of dreadlocks

Admit it, I'm right, aren't I? You're a Brit. Your claims are growing more & more exaggerated. He had one flaw now, & that's that? Wears his underwear on the outside & flaunts a cape, does he?

Gimme a break
