A REALLY Big Clue!
OK, because I'd like to see this quiz fully resolved today, I'm gonna give a REALLY BIG clue:
If, as the AP indicates by the number of headlines he generated, this boxer was second only to Jack Dempsey in terms of popularity during the early 1900s, then one would think that many youngsters dreaming of becoming boxers themselves would adopt this boxer's name as their moniker--much like other boxers would fight as "Young Dempsey."
