Re: Oisin Fagan v Johnny Greaves
Mistake at our end. Corrected now
Regarding the question about boxers eligible to fight for both Irish and British titles. That opens up another can of worms. There's no default, it's just down to what was entered originally. Same as I said there's no answer that keeps everyone happy.

Re: Oisin Fagan v Johnny Greaves
If its just down to whatever was entered originally and its not a default then it is a little strange that every boxer from Northern Ireland is listed as British and none (bar Duddy - lets not go through that again!) as Irish.mexican roadsweeper wrote:Mistake at our end. Corrected now![]()

Re: Oisin Fagan v Johnny Greaves
We appear to be talking in circles, so I'll make this is my final post on a matter in which we can never please everyone. If a boxer is from Northern Ireland he initially go's down as being British. If he boxes off a British license (which the vast majority of the Northern Irish lads do) he is included in the British rankings. The Northern Ireland boxers themselves need to decide one way or another, British or Irish. It's up to them. And if the answer is Irish then they shouldn't be chasing British titles.

Dont British fighters chase Irish titles as well? Jamie Moore! Tyson Fury!mexican roadsweeper wrote:We appear to be talking in circles, so I'll make this is my final post on a matter in which we can never please everyone. Trying to advance your career by going for a more significant title does not effect ones nationality.
I dont think that field should be labelled "nationality" if it doesnt reflect the boxers nationality.

You, yet again, seem to be suffering extreme boredom. Maybe....to alleviate the problem you should consider knitting winter bed socks for local nursing home.

Nationality is entirely up to boxers & not fans
