A fight report is available on Leicester Mercury's site. Click sports, then other sports and scroll down.
Tried to post the link but had no joy :(

I used Steve robinson as an example and ritchy told him yr either gonna be the guy who lets it get to him or yr gonna be the guy who taks his best performance and works on it that way.Max was back in the gym tuesday training hard so hopefully hes gonna just dig deeper

Just read the boxing news report ???? what a joke when are they going to send unbiased officials to fights this guy writes for the leicester post as well and knows the concepions personally and is a fan

He makes his biased attitude known when he say " It was justice done for the family after elder sibling kevin was EDGED out of a midlands title fight by tony randall early last month"

Anyone who was there has sed the offical scorline in favour of randell by FOUR points was generous to concepion yet this clown states justice for the family after he was edged out.

People like Craig birch should not be reporting on people they know socially if they cant keep it unbiased cmon boxing news get a grip.

Im a trainer commenting on a fighter from my gym of course it.My point is im not writing for a the national trade paper which is used by people for refence on ratings and appeals and complaint and the like.

Also it turns out he played on the same footy team as one of the concepions ,is from leicester and has martin on his facebook page. That would be fine if he was his trainer commeting on a forum or making a complaint the fact that hes the unbiased journalist for a respected trade paper is the bit that seems kind of weird.

Torro you yrself being a concepion fan id have no problem with being biased but to be a reporter you have to raise yrself above this kind of thing.

Just like to say this is the first complaint iv ever put in and first time iv realy gone overbard about a decision so i think that show im prepared to accept close decisions

Fair point. I never realised the reporter and martin were friends.

Having not seen the fight I just want to read an accurate report.

Just out of interest how would you have scored it?

I always try to score fights with any close rounds against us thats why when max lost by a point and two points to rob kenny and and tony randall (boxing news had him winning both by the way) we could see how it could have been scored against us and didnt make a fuss.
This one and ritchy woodhall in the corner had it the same i had 6.3.1 in rounds as max took very little cleanly coming out against a puncher like martin without a mark over ten shows a good defence.
Respected matchmaker Jimmy Gill who was in the crowd had max a winner by two and he sed he was taking into account he was the away fighter.

Full respect to martin concepction whos such a game skillfull lad hes never had a break i just wish it hadnt come at the expense of another lad who dont seem to have a lot of luck ie 3 midland title fights all cloe with a fair share of people thinking hed done enough and not one goes his way .The first two he was the home lad as well.

sorry to keep going on but like i say not one to moan before and this one kind of got to me.

My last moan anyway thanks for listening lol
