i think the 2 that stand out are barker and macklin you cant compare moore yet as hes not fought at the weight, barker macklin would be a great british fight hopefully they fight in a world title unification fight i think barker would win but it would be very close who knows maybe the could have a trilogy

Yep very good times for British Middleweights. IMO Barker is the best so technically sound and has power and is very well schooled, McKeown and Lee has shown good potensial but not on the same level as Barker and Macklin.

All very good fighters, if Moore brings his speed and adds a bit of power he could well give Macklin or Barker a good fight.

Although Mcewan might have the potential to get to the standard of Barker or Macklin in the future, I don't think he is at that evel yet and won't be for a year or 2 and in that time both Barker and Macklin will be fighting for world titles in my opinion.

The other thing to point out is that the middleweight division is not as good world level as people make out, the best ones are either getting old or looking at moving up to super middle, perfect time for British based boxers to take advantage I think, especially by beating some top rated boxers.

The correct answer is Birmingham's Matthew Macklin.

I think its between barker and mcewan, both were outstanding amatures and both look good in pros, its hard to compare as craig is stateside so there in no common oppositionm craigs there best wins are VERA,STOVAL AND PARISON, thats as good as barkers three surely?

Darren Barker.

Though, I would have said Jamie Moore had he beaten Ryan Rhodes.

barker is by far the best boxer, but his chin is questionable, so it depends if he gets careless enough to get caught, or, whether anyone is good enough to catch him..

i think macklin would stop barker... just my take on things.

The major factor in me losing to Ryan was the weight, so i'll be much better at middle. (right hook in the 7th didn't help the cause though!! :o )
Lets see how Barker copes when he's in with someone who can pose him problems. Everyone looks good hitting the bags. :TU:

Macklin's got a much better resume at the minute.

So you'd pick Moore in that fight? Were you also picking Moore against Paul Williams on this forum if i recall?

Never commented on a Moore v Williams fight, as I recall.

I was not commenting on your choice in the Moore v Barker match up, just the way you phrased it in an obvious attempt to rile a respected pro fighter who posts on here - you lack the intelligance to hide your weak trolling for more than a handful of posts.

Back to the hinterlands for you, d1ckhead.
