Did you see him slipping his number to any of the ring-card girls?

Taxis don't wanna come near you so you have to walk everywhere. Plus alot of "interesting people" hang off the strip. Not good. Paris, NY NY and PH tend to have good deals. I stayed at the Trumpt Tower in March. 5 star 2 bed apartments for $100 a night. Plus you get a bath like Scarface and a phone in the crapper. It's a good central location.

If you haven't been before, I'd recommend using Jon.

Jon, I may come to this. I'm in Hawaii the weekend after so might stay there and get a transfer. Could do with some advice on that.

Oh, and I have experience of upper tier, upper lower tier, lower tier and ringside at the MGM. Go for lower tier everytime.

There's no point spending all that money and then watching two ants cuddle. :KO:
wow ringside at mgm...which fight? would have been awesome
Cotto Magarito. 4 rows behind Tyson.

I beat Loynsey, I was sat next to Scott Welsch for Ricky's fight. :box:

Realistically, what is the cheapest flight you could get?

I'd guess at £350 - £400 which would involve one or two stops and take up to 18 hours total travelling time.

I've never been there and as it looks to have more than a 50% chance of being in Vegas on the 13th of March I thought I would come here and get some advice on the dos and donts with going from thoses that have been there and done it.

Any advice on getting tickets, which airports to fly into, hotels etc would be much appriciated.

:TU:
My advice is make sure you take plenty of cash with you! :TU:

Meh. You can do Vegas on the cheap. Just eat ribs and steaks in the cheaper casinos. Especially old Vegas which has some great food deals.

Also stand near chips on poker tables and rub your chin. Waitresses think they're yours and offer you free drinks.

That's the cheapest option so it will be one of a couple motels off strip about 10 mins walk from the MGM

If I get into JFK @ 1pm how long should I leave til I get my flight to Vegas.

Aint been to America since prior to 9/11 and ya hear stories about it being a nightmare to get through customs and immigration in JFK these days.

I plan on flying to Vegas as soon as I can so how long will it take me to land at 1pm to collect me bag, get through all the shite and then check in for the Vegas flight!!!??

From my experience of working there it varies city by city.

O'Hare are pudenda. Philly was okay. Vegas couldn't give a fornicate. Newark same as Philly. JFK better than O'Hare. Just.

Did for Des Moines via O'Hare. The wait cost us the connecting flight and we had to go the next day.

give yourself a minimum of 3 or 4 hours, possibly more, you need to allow for a delay at this end and time to give the septics the opportunity to do your finger prints.

Are you flying from Dublin? If so, I usually go to vegas with Delta (usually cheapest). Either via JFK or Atlanta.

You pass US immigration in Dublin with most (all?) Delta flights. So in JFK/Atlanta, all you need to do is pick up your checked bag and place on a conveyor belt (no need to recheck them in again), then pass security. Usually only takes about 45 mins. Then go to the bar and wait for your Vegas flight!

I usually have 4 or 5 hrs in JFK then get onto the Vegas flight. It works out great. Did it for Mayweather-Marquez and Cotto-Pacman. The return flight can be tough (waiting in JFK for 6 hours for the connecting flight).

Check out US Airways also, who go to Vegas via Philly.

My advise is try to go via Atlanta with Delta rather than JFK due to preferable flight times. But TBH, it all depends on your budget?
