I aint saying he would have beaten them - but he was certainly stronger in the Kostya fight than he was for the Mayweather fight. Seeing Pacquiao demolish Cotto since makes me think Pacquiao would have been strong enough to bully Kostya around, in a similar fashion as Ricky did. However, I aint convinced Mayweather would have out strengthed Kostya - (he would have out boxed him) but yet he out strengthed Ricky, who was stronger than Kostya in 2005.
At the end of it, I always thought Floyd and Manny would have been too quick, too sharp and too skillful for Ricky. However, I am starting to think Ricky cannot sustain his highly intensive 3 month camp - if he is already in shape before.
Maybe its not to the same level, but if Peter McNelley said he could have performed better against Tyson, would that be the same as Hatton saying he could have done better?
Yes, we all know perhaps Ricky could have done better, but Pacquiao got him out of there quick time & Mayweather out-fought, out-thought him, & then knocked him out!
