Why not pass it to your editor or assistant editor

Whilst you might be conducting the interviews this week do they all need to be typed up and ready to go if your pushed for time.

Why not spread them out so the work load is easier

So you want to waste our time instead.

Only joking. I am not reliable and I am also quite selfish. There must be somebody around who has a heart.
I nominate TERENCE DOOLEY - the best in the business.

Just submit them as usual, Adam.

Ben or I will sort them. As for your own progress, it's one of those learning humps that you just have to do yourself over time...if you haven't got time now, don't worry. Do a non-time sensitive piece and have a good go at that. :TU:

It's not wasting their time, it's their job. Writers write, editors edit. In that latter regard, that's where a great many websites lose credibility vs printed media. However, thankfully Ian McNeilly is one of the few website editors out there who does give submitted copy a going-over instead of just whacking it up verbatim.

Once its on the site, I'd just make a little time to compare the 'McNeilly-fied' version to your original. Highlighting the differences is a very useful exercise, and one that came from the top :TU:

Exactly that ^

Compare the two versions, recognise and understand the differences, and I'd also recommend reading as much as you can of the printed media. It may "old fashioned", but in general terms a piece in a magazine or newspaper will still be of a higher quality than a website. In any craft or art, the consumption of it is as important as your own production of it.
