The Walsh brothers foregone conclusions .
Contest's between RYAN WALSH vs. IAN BAILEY and MICHAEL WALSH vs. NAJID ALI aint, althought I still have'nt seen these Brother's fight yet i can tell you that Ian Bailey has had 5 weeks Notice and is More then a Handfull on 5 hours Notice, iv done alot of Sparring with Ian and Najid Ali, Najid is Class move's so well hard to hit, aint a masive Puncher but alot of them but Not big enough for Bantam, should be a Fly but maybe cant get any fights.. In this one he is coming in as an opponent, if he had the right team around him like FW he'd win alot of Title's at Fly...
How good is Micheal Walsh ? coz if he aint the Bollox he's getting Beat..
Good post- and it's good to be discussing the fights.
I saw Bailey win on TV recently- he looked a capable fighter- but looking at his record, he might lack power. This, in realistic terms means he needs to CLEARLY dominate the fight to win. If the fight is close, watch out for, surprise surprise, a "hometown" decision for the prospect.
Likewise, Ali- Michael Walsh is an agressive, come forward fighter (not exactly an expert on defence) , but I think that would be enought to give him the rounds on the refs card.
Also, watch out for premature stoppages.... (IE the fight being stopped a little too soon inf avour of te hometown boxers)
Good luck to both Bailey and Ali- I hope they do win- but I honestly can't see it.
