It is worth remembering though that Barry Jones - with no stoppage wins am or pro - did manage to briefly drop the hard charging Ancelio Freitas when they fought for the WBO crown. At the time the Brazilian was viewed by many as an unstoppable power punching monster.

I'd hardly heard of Fretias back when he fought Jones. his record spoke for itself though.

OK guys there are exceptions to the rule but to even be speaking of Gavin Vs Hatton at any stage shows what potential he has got.
