What next?

Post by The End »

I know a lot has been done already.

What would be a new fresh weight for next season?

Before now I suggested Heavyweight... I would find it very exciting...
Can you imagine the top 25 boxers? :D

Ali, Louis, Foreman, Frazier, Marciano, Dempsey, Johnson, Tyson, lewis,
Liston, Holyfield, Walcott, Charles, Schmeling, Norton, Holmes, Burns
V Klitchsko, W Klitchsko, Patterson, Baer, Braddock, Jeffries, Bowe, Sullivan

I don't know about you mate... But I would find the whole thing facinating. :TU:

How long does a normal season run for?

I would like to see welterweights for next season.

Normally 40, but think that's only happened once.

Wouldn't be surprised if a new one was around the corner.

We have done the HWs twice, Middleweights, Welters, LHW... Maybe 126-135 greats?

Might I ask who was in the Middleweights? Was it all the greats like Robinson, Monzon etc...

Was Leonard, Duran, Hagler and Heanrs included? If so, who done better? :D

It has always been the greats. We did have around 4 fighters from each be considered off limits as to make it slightly more fair... Marciano, Louis, Ali and Dempsey I believe for HWs... Robinson, Hagler and Monzon for the Middles ect.

Not sure about those guys at welter, but Duran was destroyed by Pacquiao at lightweight.

The greatest lightweight of all time was Alexis Arguello.

I believe Pernell Whitaker was on his way to proving he was the best. And he beat every man he faced that season.

Whitaker was losing almost every round when the fight was stopped due to a cut in the 12th.

Arguello destroyed Whitaker in the rematch and went on to unify the titles (which I must give credit to you for getting everyone to participate with your mind games.)

Bollocks Grimm.

Don't believe for one second BoxBum had any effect on Arguello - Blackburn happening. I always make the right fights!
