Hello guys, I ain't gonna state for 1 min that this guy was championship class BUT I'll tell you all now, Tony Oakey was offered the fight 6 weeks ago as was Fry and Mckanzie was given 8 weeks notice only for his promoter to pull him out.. Oakey had a prior engagement with McIntosh so I fully understood him not taking it BUT he was offered me for the Commenwealth or McIntosh for the English so I'll let you guys do the math??

I respect Tony and Im a fan of his style so I'll never slate him or disrespect him he has a great team in Eames and Tibbs!! I wanna fight top guys but for some reason or another I've become the new Peter Oboh?? I said I'll fight Danny McIntosh but apprentley he's said he wants no part of me?? ??

Finally I'd like to say it wasn't my best performance last night and I started a bit slowly BUT once I heard Anie and Dean screaming to open up I let them go and the power was there to be seen, The last right hand nearly had his eyes popping out of his head!! He would of got hurt if the ref let it go on and I don't wanna do any lasting damage to anyone..

Once again guys I wanna thank all you guys on here for your support and comments I really appreciate them, Also to all the guys who cheered in that arena for me last night too!! You make boxing at home so very very special!!

THANK YOU...

Weren't your best performance Tony?? You ended the fight after a couple of minutes! :OhYes:

The power was there to see. Even though Moore went down and it weren't counted, he was obviously hurt, and i thought the ref was bang on stopping the fight.

Who next Tony?! :TU:

I look at it this way bomber, he is just being honest IMO. rather than run his mouth off in public that he would take the fight with you, but find a way not to take the fight behind closed doors, he is saying he basically isn't good enough. I actually respect that, myself, at least, more than if he was saying one thing and doing another

i mean maybe your fellow pros and you may see it as a lack of ambition in McIntosh- and certainly as a fan i would like to see the fight- but i do respect him for being honest if he really said what he's supposed to have said about fighting you.

I have huge resoect for him saying it mate, I used to think he was an idiot after his comments about scousers in tracksuits BUT I must be honest I really admire him and respect him these days, As I do Tony Oakey..I know how fighters think though and surely there's many who think like me that they are invicible...

Danny used to give me the impression he WAS one of those fighters. Cleverley showed him the error of his ways there though  :TU:

seriously though how often in life will someone just be honest and say 'naah he's too good' its refreshing to me.

it was a good stoppage moore was saved from being badly hurt

Wouldn't mind seeing bellew v fry or mckenzie at the olympia with Swifty liam selkirk would be a good show and would be good to see bomber headling a show

i agree he would have been badly hurt but he didn't even go down, his hands didn't drop, he was still defending himself. bomber would have smashed the guy had it gone on but in my opinion british refs stop fights way way too early

what ring expieriance do you have as a ref, coach, fighter??

when a ref goes into the changing room before he will purposly inspect the fighters eye's as they may look a little naturally gone so there aint no confusion when he looks at them

the reason the opponent was not up to standard was warren wont pay the money to get good fighters in with tony i bet tony didnt even get £15'000 for last night when infact you should be getting £60.000 plus for commonwealth and more to defend it ????

Great performance... yada yada yada... etc.

but the guy was... well do I even need to comment on the opponent?

A situation that is becoming all to familiar with Bellew I'm afraid.

Where does boxrec get African results from? Easy to say his verified record is whatever, but I presume he did have more fights that was on boxrec and there have been cases of boxers from Africa not having a "boxrec verified" fight and boxing for a title.

well done tony, i know you can only fight who/what is put infront of you and i make no secret in saying i thought the opponent, for a title fight, was very raw and badly schooled.

you boxed well, defence was good and the power is there when you relax and let your shots go, good luck in the future.

i think courtney fry will be a decent next opponent for you.
