Boxer's nickname game

Post by Dingleberry »

How many of these hundred can you get?

I got 68.

I struggled with many of the fighters post-1995, bizarrely.

Thanks for the link!

Not that I expect it to last, but I guess I'm in the lead for the moment. Picked up a score of 85. Some of the more recent fighters, like Andre Ward, eluded me.

Pacquiao KO2 Hatton

As for the books, sure, Oscar makes excuses for his mistakes, who he fired, double-crossed, cheated on, & such, but...at least he doesn't have to pretend a loss to Vince Phillips didn't happen :DD

Oscar would've been smart enough to avoid a fight with Ray Robinson, too, if the chance came up.

He comes off as a bit of a dirtbag in the book. I applaud his honsesty, but I still felt like I needed a shower after.

Oh, and what's worse? Getting caught by Phillips? Or running to a loss against Trinidad? Image
