He'll only see about £300,000 of that, after sorting out his Manager, Trainer et al then pays his tax.
Wonder what % Freddy boy creams off ?
Still not bad though.

i wouldnt say mallinaggi was over the hill he was producing some of his best form since going to train with the sherif

We all have to pay for the fkking hospitals and schools not just Amir.

Freddy must be on 15%?

I for one will be staggered if Roach is on 15%! Surely, its 10% or less? 10% is what trainers normally get is it not?

Mind you, maybe Khan & his team know what an asset to Khan Freddie is & therefore, they may have been willing to push the boat out & go the higher percentage?

There is no denying Roach has improved Khan a lot. However, Malignaggi is not a puncher, so I still want to see what happens when he in there with a guy who can punch!

Credit to Khan though, he did what he had to do!

Dave,
Easy tiger, the election's over !
I think you're misinterpreting what I said.
1.1 Million is a major headline figure (in dollars) but the point I was trying to get over is how quickly these figures net down.
I'm not suggesting it was a poor pay day, and I'm not advocating tax evasion.
I think Roach will be on 15%.
Anyway, take your anger out on the bankers, not a Northern grafter :TU:

Not really tax evasion. More like an astute way of getting income.

Khan took a bath on that fight then. Must be the only world champ to get less as a champion than as a contender.

Rafael usually posts the amounts after promoter removes the cut so he'll end up with a decent amount probably $500k. Plus he has good endorsment with Reebok as well.

Despite rumours that ITV got the fight for nothing, I heard that they paid about £500,000

It wasn a bad deal all round.ITV filled 3 slots and Khan got terrestrial coverage to go along with glowing newspaper reports.Others should maybe follow their example and look at the bigger picture. If Khan would have gone with, say,Primetime, hardly anyone would have seen it,for the sake of a few thousand pounds
