Fair point Deno1986.....Sosnowski's record is toilet though and he's not a top ten guy is he or even top 20? Perhaps he is. I'd excuse Sos if Klitschko's preceding opponents didn't look like the gathering of the Klumps clan.Deno1986 wrote:Vitali wanted to fight Valuev but the Russian turned down numerous approaches from the Klitschko's. According to some reports, the final offer he turned down was in the region of $2.5m. I agree Sosnowski isn't the best opponent but he was the European Champion at the time the fight was offered and has more of a right to be there than the likes of Kevin Johnson et co.DavidPayne wrote:
I think Haye should fight the Klitschko's but they should man up too. Why isn'tVK fighting Valuev, why Sosnowski? Now thata a dogshit fight.

I wouldn't say I'm starting to believe as much as I'm experiencing the same trepidation I feel every single time Haye fights.Autobarn wrote:see, you're already starting to BELIEVE...charlieb wrote:I've got absolutely no interest in seeing Haye/Harrison. What if Harrison clipped Haye with a lucky shot? I don't give him much hope but there's always that chance with Haye's defence and Harrison's ability to produce the occassional peach of a shot.
If Haye's looking to make a few more defences before attempting a Klitschko then there're far more credible fights out there.
Jesus, can you imagine what it'd be like on the current scene if Harrison were to pull an upset. For that reason alone, this fight can't happen.
imagine if it sells out in terms of crowd and does massive PPV #s. it will help haye in negotiations for the genuine big fights.
also, maybe i'm curious to see if haye can get away with it, after abusing audley in a sparring session, publically saying audley is nowhere near qualified enough for a title fight, and denying him a place on his undercard.
The only way this fight would be remotely worth the small chance of losing, would be if Harrison were to take out a decent name beforehand.

Crap fight, Haye shouldn't need more than 3 rounds to spark Audley if it happens!

It's going to happen, & it makes me effing sick to my stomach to think of it.
Lord I'm beginning to feel queasy.....please, please don't let that happen....
Re: Haye V Harrison,Battle Britain???????????????
the fact is audley's olympic medal makes him a name and the spectacular punch he landed at the end of the sprott rematch, gives sky the excuse to cash in the audley name.
obviously we know there is a market for domestic clashes on the world scene. while many fights didn't happen (hatton-witter), haye-macca got us all excited and it must have been haye's biggest pre-heavyweight payday.

This would be the final straw on the back of the camel of Haye's credibility after all his supposed Klitschko chasing antics. I think team Haye should be looking at this the other way around. Go for a Klit which most think he'll likely lose but then a Audley fight is still big. If he does win there aren't many challengers left as the brothers have mostly cleared them out so he could get away with Harrison for a unified title homecoming and reallly clean up.
I think it would be a mistake to confirm what a lot of US boxing fans already seem to think about him as the HBO $ is a big bargaining chip for him.

Gents,
Here is a question for you - Who owns both NOTW and SKY???
I don't believe a word of it, I think we should all cool down as it is pure rumour at the moment.
Re: Haye V Harrison,Battle Britain???????????????
Very true. Mind control at it's best.
Anyway, there are plenty of domestic HW's that would smash Harrison. They all must fancy a crack at the euro.
