They showed this a few weeks ago as well

Piper put up a good showing, but Benn wore him down and the end was pretty emphatic

If it is the same programme, keep watching as they also show Benn's tear up with Barkley which is worth the licence fee on its own

Piper-Benn was a good scrap and Nicky's finest hour. As a Benn fan, I remember being worried half way through.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...Bob Arum before Benn-Barkley "The biggest waste of money in the history of boxing is hiring judges for this fight."

Barkley's sight was pretty fucked though.

Funny quote in Nigel Benn's autobiography.

"When I saw the size of that enormous football sized head on Piper's shoulders, I thought to myself 'I can't miss."

That's the gist of it anyway....

Think Arum had his arm around Nigel after, saying "Here's my new Hagler"

I'll have to try and tape this one, the Barkley fight is as good a one rounder as you'll see. As usual, Nige is badly hurt before delivering the coup de grace.

The copy I have is right from the first bell - wanted to see the staredown. Benn said he was bricking it before the opening bell...

Nice guy Barkley, really intelligent too. Shame what's happened to him in recent years, begging King for one more fight and all the rest.
