Lloyd, by the way, was one of only two British boxers who refused to support the campaign last year. He had an attack of the Gordon Ramsay's when he was asked! I've never said a bad word about him!
No idea. I'm convinced that he has confused me with somebody - the hate in his email reply was staggering!
The other fighter was Matt Skelton - he was presumably upset over some things I said in about 2004 about his skills, which would mean that he ignored about 500 references on radio, tv and in the papers to his heart, desire and power.
DP,
I believe that you have your Dyers mixed up.
Darren was a brilliant but troubled welter and one day in the Old Kent Road it is possible that he had a plastic bag with a hammer and his eyes set on Honeyghan.
Danny is a professional geezer in white shoes.
It's a confusing situation, but not dire.

Adios.
Scanning. The achilles heel of better men than me.
Enjoying the series. Have a couple backed up now but enjoyed Bruno v Ekland....not seen that for yonks.
I thought that Honeyghan was magnificent. It's John H.Stracey tonight (23rd) on ESPN Classic at 11:05. This series has been about looking back and watching the fighters putting it all on the line in hard, hard fights.
Not as much as Stracey was allowed to give Lewis last night!
It's Kevin Finnegan and alan Minter tonight at 11:05 on ESPN Classic.
I hope that everybody is enjoying the nightly show.
I think that Vaca fight was Honeyghun at his absolute peak. Never the same fighter after that... Laboured to a win via a bollocks shot against an oriental opponent and then looked shot against the Brilliant Starling.
