-Fighters you were sure would be champions who turned out duds.
-Fighters you were sure would be duds who went all the way.
-Horrible fight predictions. You are watching the big PPV and all your buddies are there. You know for a fact this guy is going to win easy...2-3 rounds later he is KTFO.
My worst pick ever. I really truly thought even 60% of Roy Jones would beat 100% of an overrated Calzaghe. I had $100 on him at 12-1 to win by KO, so the first round was entertaining, but I was wrong that I thought Jones had something left in the tank, and I can admit that Joe Cal was better than I thought. Worst part is I helped a few buddies who don't watch boxing really, lose money on that fight.
I was on the Jermain Taylor bandwagon from day 1, and after he out pointed Hopkins twice I really thought the torch was passed and he might rain as champion for years. Although he was decent, he surely turned out to have major flaws and ended up shot quickly.
Audley Harrison. I fell for it. I don't think I am the only one. Granted, I suppose he still has the chance to maybe make something happen, but I thought he had the tools to be really good.
OK G.I. I know you have been wrong about something. Think about it really hard and tell us all.
