Will Hobson get out of nick in time to fight Haye?

All good stuff on the Haye front good fun if you ask me, also it will mean that hobson can't really not fight him after he has said all that.

Nothing on the Hennassy sport websight about it would be a good fight for froch if you ask me assuming he beats this guy then I think a couple of domestic fights would do him good in between US bouts he hasn't been the most active fighter of late, although don't know if Barny will want to come down from light Heavy but if he dose it will be good.

I can't say I'm a huge fan of fighters trash-talking, but if it needs this to get Haye-Hobson made, then fair enough. I really do want to see this fight made.

I'd like to hear what Hobson has to say though: Haye has said his piece, which, in fairness, is only after Booth and Aston have had words. But Hobson, who I've always considered a thoroughly decent guy, hasn't said a word. I hope they get it on, because, whilst I have doubts about Hobson going much further than domestic level, I think that right now, he's a perfect test to see, at this stage of his career, just how good Haye could be.

Cruiserweight, right now, could be the most exciting division, domestically. I just have visions of it becoming another farce, like the light-middle's did a few years back. Let's hope not.

Haye will be beaten again soon, IMO he doesnt appear to have learned from the Thompson defeat.

Haye is 'training' in Tenerife?

Methinks he could be trying to get Hobson riled up so Mark goes straight at him - he must know his stamina is shit; he is probably having a proper good time going out after 'training'.
Would be interesting if Hobson ran for the first six (oh fornicate it, three) rounds and didn't engage in the baiting counterpuncher. Even better just block and drag him forward (he'll come slowly), make it ugly and don't even fight. Haye is a free TKO for anyone with the guile to expose him.

Lots of fighters train in Tenerife. It has plenty of mountain roads to run in at altitude, and there are some training camps there. Nigel Benn did most of his training there for high profile fights I seem to recall, and I don't remember him being a shirker in training.

Thats true. However I doubt very much Haye is training as hard as Benn used to.

Thats true. However I doubt very much Haye is training as hard as Been used to.

Indeed, it has to do with the fighters themselves.

Haye gives me the impression he will be up for a party instead of gritting down the way, say, Scott Harrison did on his recent jaunts to Tenerife... and even then, it didn't exactly work out for the best the two most recent times he did it: Medina 1 and Polo.

That's nothing to do with his training though, it's the styles of the fighters involved, both Medina and Polo have very awkward styles for a slow mover like Harrison.

Agree with Polo - maybe it's just a strange coincidence he struggled again after training in Tenerife - but I think fitness played a crucial part in the Medina rematch.
