Depending on the draw i'd agree with that. I think Sprott is the best bet to win. I wonder if we'll get a chance to vote on the tba this time?

Well Sprott is over sparring with Wladimir Klitchko in Austria at the moment so that will be decent tuning.

Can't happen they are in the same half of the draw so will meet in the semi's if they both win.

This wild card is interesting - got a funny feeling it might be on of the FTM boys, unlikely I know but might be.

Failing that how about Hide back in the heavyweight mix, he has been very quite of late following the cut in the cruiserweight effort.

it could still happen i'm hoping 1 loses in the first round just to avoid another farce of fight like last time they met

While the thought isn't exactly enthralling, over 3 rounds I think it would be better than some of the alternatives. I know Baker has some support on here but I hate watching him fight. I know he did ok against a entirely shot Danny Williams before but his conditioning when the third round came along was disgraceful. I probably shouldn't single him out, McBride hasn't won a fight since 2006, Holden since 2002. I like Prizefighter but it can be a git to defend at times... Will be interested to see who the wildcard is though.

See what you mean my bad it will be them too against each other in the semi final, may well be an ok scrap over 3 rounds

Makes the whole thing pretty pointless though if it is a Sprott/Skelton final since they have already fought a twelve rounder for the British title. Prizefighter makes a lot more sense for people like Rogan who needed a break, or Audley who needed a career turn around.

That's the worst heavyweight line up so far. Normally changes by fight night, so hopefully it will be worth watching.

Looks like a crap competition and on recent form Sprott should win and he's a decent starter as well so the three round format shouldnt hinder him.

Wildcard might be someone from abroad.

IT IS REAL !!!!

usually theres a slow drip drip of info..... but this time bang....straight in....everyone knows who they're fighting in the first round.

Skelton is a bit of a shell.....but maybe the 3 round thing could be perfect for him.

Sprotty has tons of experience and can take anyone out with the right chance....Danny hughes is huge tho and did well last time.

Baker punches like a flyweight

Holden ...i thought he was banned by the bbbc last time ????

Ali adams ive not seen and know nothing

as for the wildcard (they probably just dont have anyone)

but im def going altho the last cruiser one was the worst ever....the heavies are always good

Oh please make the wildcard Mike Perez. He would really shake this competition up and prizefighter could launch a new star.

Was wondering exactly the same thing. He can't have gotten any better in another year of inactivity, can he?

It's better than the first one. OK, the first one was exciting, and Rogan ended up a genuine contender for a while, but as of the announcement it was just a line-up of blokes who looked like doormen.

Is Skelton, Sprott, McBride, Hughes worse than Ferguson, Bessey, Kenna, Ibbs, Butlin, Morgan?? No offence to those guys, but they're just club fighters. At least Skelton, Sprott and McBride have mixed in world class, Hughes is a decent prospect, and even Baker had a nice result last time.
