Sprott v Skelton final?

Well Sprott is over sparring with Wladimir Klitchko in Austria at the moment so that will be decent tuning.Newport Daz wrote:Depending on the draw i'd agree with that. I think Sprott is the best bet to win. I wonder if we'll get a chance to vote on the tba this time?
Can't happen they are in the same half of the draw so will meet in the semi's if they both win.Adamj1987 wrote:please not sprott - skelton 3
it could still happen i'm hoping 1 loses in the first round just to avoid another farce of fight like last time they metGLOBALBOX wrote:Can't happen they are in the same half of the draw so will meet in the semi's if they both win.Adamj1987 wrote:please not sprott - skelton 3
This wild card is interesting - got a funny feeling it might be on of the FTM boys, unlikely I know but might be.
Failing that how about Hide back in the heavyweight mix, he has been very quite of late following the cut in the cruiserweight effort.
While the thought isn't exactly enthralling, over 3 rounds I think it would be better than some of the alternatives. I know Baker has some support on here but I hate watching him fight. I know he did ok against a entirely shot Danny Williams before but his conditioning when the third round came along was disgraceful. I probably shouldn't single him out, McBride hasn't won a fight since 2006, Holden since 2002. I like Prizefighter but it can be a git to defend at times... Will be interested to see who the wildcard is though.Adamj1987 wrote:please not sprott - skelton 3
See what you mean my bad it will be them too against each other in the semi final, may well be an ok scrap over 3 roundsAdamj1987 wrote:it could still happen i'm hoping 1 loses in the first round just to avoid another farce of fight like last time they metGLOBALBOX wrote:Can't happen they are in the same half of the draw so will meet in the semi's if they both win.Adamj1987 wrote:please not sprott - skelton 3

Makes the whole thing pretty pointless though if it is a Sprott/Skelton final since they have already fought a twelve rounder for the British title. Prizefighter makes a lot more sense for people like Rogan who needed a break, or Audley who needed a career turn around.JamesH wrote:While the thought isn't exactly enthralling, over 3 rounds I think it would be better than some of the alternatives. x2 think il give this one a miss....be interesting to see who the wildcard is..David Price???THEBUTCH wrote:That's the worst heavyweight line up so far. Normally changes by fight night, so hopefully it will be worth watching.
rogan - harrison rematch is what i wantleforge wrote:Replace Holden & Mcbride. Get Rogan in there. Still be entertaining night!
McBride v Holden - not a win between them in a total of 10 years!Tommy Gunn13 wrote:How can they pick Holden to enter this, when they refused him last time after his dire performance in his comeback fight which was a draw..he hasnt boxed since...
Was wondering exactly the same thing. He can't have gotten any better in another year of inactivity, can he?Tommy Gunn13 wrote:How can they pick Holden to enter this, when they refused him last time after his dire performance in his comeback fight which was a draw..he hasnt boxed since...
It's better than the first one. OK, the first one was exciting, and Rogan ended up a genuine contender for a while, but as of the announcement it was just a line-up of blokes who looked like doormen.THEBUTCH wrote:That's the worst heavyweight line up so far.
