7 quid per month is a bargain for this lot - I've actually missed these nights & when we have the option to see fights that S$y wont be showing - Its something we haven't had since Setanta went bust.

Only can be a good thing.

Happy Days are back :D
I turned off tonights truth be told, I'm looking to what they will give us in the future though.

Very promising.

Bloody hell some people are hard to please, I know 7 quid is better off in my pocket but you would struggle to find a pub where that would get you two pints.
Everyone mourns the demise of Setanta but when a new channel finally steps up to the mark and offers the oppurtunity to see plenty of decent cards that we wouldnt otherwise get a chance to see (at a considerably cheaper price than Setanta) people find reasons to slag it off rather than support it.
This needs as many hardcore boxing fans to jump on board as possible, otherwise it may not be around for long.
Seriously has hennessy got a show a month in him at the moment?
If he gets a regular TV deal then I am sure it will be easier to make new signings and at least he will keep his current crop busy, discounting Froch.

I think it's great to see another TV company come in for Boxing, tonight people will want to see Morales v Limond, a lot of the purisits will want to see Frampton next week and Shane Mosley is still one of the biggest active names in Boxing, although next week's fight doesnt look great on paper. For Boxing fans then I think the channel is great, last night was just the start and it wasnt competitive Boxing really because Hennessy wanted to make his fighters look good and not lose.

In regards to Hennessy shows what I think is if you've got a TV deal then you will get new fighters signing for you and he's still got a few decent names as mentioned above.
