Whilst I would tend to agree, I suppose it can also be argued that if the guy is fit to box, who are we to deny him the right to make a living? If he can get fights, good luck to him.

"Karl feels the same". If he thinks he is the same now as he was in his twenties, he must be utterly deluded. Karl is 44 but could reasonably pass as 60+ if you saw him in the street.
Boxing is not a sport for people in their mid-40s at the best of times, especially if they are just getting beaten.

Really? I haven't seen him win a round in about five years. True I do only usually see him fight prospects on bigger shows, but still. I see he doesn't have a W on the first page of his record now.

Promoters shouldn't really use him anymore, given that he doesn't actually offer a test to even the most average prospect.

It's these type of journeymen that hamper the sport in my opinion. The uninitiated fan attending his first show would probably be sickened to see a man that looks like their grandad fighting a young lad in his early 20's.
