Advice Needed....??

Hi Guys

I'm new to the Boxrec forums but have been told you lads are a better bunch than some of the other forums so here i am.

I'm looking for some advice. I've recently recovered from a pretty horrific hand injury that stopped me boxing, I have never had an amatuer fight was just training with a view to fighting. Now i'm back in the gym hoping to start up an amatuer record this year. Trouble is when i was at the peak of my fitness i was in an around the 14st mark, Since my hand injury and subsequent 12 months sat on my ar$e i've put on 2.5 st.

Has anyone any advice on things i can be doing and suppliments I can take to accompany my training (legal of course) which can help me shift some of this chod i've aquired over the last 12 months.

Anything would be appreciated.

SLH,

It's mostly Yanks on this board so they won't know what a stone is. We use pounds (lbs) in the States. As for your question, the only true formula for losing weight is calories in, calories out. You burn more than what goes in, you lose weight. Eat small meals about 5 times a day with lots of water and stay away from junk food. Eating small meals many times a day gives you gas in the tank to burn so you 'll have energy for your workouts. Water has no calories so it does not put on weight. You will sweat and pea it out. Any other liquid has calories.

JMAC IS RIGHT ON.FEW OTHER THINGS EAT YOUR FRUITS EARLY IN THE DAY.AS THEY CONTAIN NATURAL SUGARS THAT CAN HELP PUT ON WEIGHT.OF COURSE ALCOHOL IS NOT GOOD.WEEKENDS ARE A KILLER FOR SOME.YOU DRINK ALCOHOL IN EXCESS,YOU EAT GREASY FAT FILLERS,YOU KNOW BURGERS,BURRITOS,PANCAKES ETC. USE ABOLENE TO HELP SPEED UP THE SWEATING WHEN YOU WORKOUT.LOTS OF RUNNING
