Yeah HD-- bloody frustrating when so many shots land and don't register... bloody frustrating. Yeah the Indian fighter can really move and land clean shots. One of the best, crisp upper cuts one will see going around.

He throws that uppercut like a boxer throws a jab. He'll win no doubt, that fight came on before the Hooper v Ogogo, and alls i thought was no one's beating this bloke, he's well rounded and very very quick, his punches are more straighter, his uppercut is devastating and his movement and defence is flawless.

I'm still in shock that he's an indian World AM champ, hope this doesn't sound racist, but how many Indians do you know that can throw......has there ever been a world champ(PRO) who was indian?

Yeah he's pretty clued up and very skilled fighter, flawless is a good way to describe it. I guess the closest we'll see or seen is Pakistani born Amir Khan. Traditionally India have had very good am boxers and wrestlers. No one really pushed on and turned pro because they don't have any pro fighting in the sub continent. India have had some awesome pro wrestlers in the past.... they were bloody good.

Hooper did bloody good, unlucky that some of his shots weren't scored.... speaking of Indians who can throw, didn't an ex-cricket captain get banned for life for throwing cricket games?

I think I'm farked if we are betting on boxing......And boys don't forget the cycling and team sports like Hockey,Basketball, netball and pretty much nearly evrey other team sport, and apparently a pole vault world champ, Oh and we kick ass at shooting as well. Shitt boys we just kick the commonwealths ass when it comes to atheletes!!! GB have prepared well for the 2012 Olympics and they did finally beat Australia at the last Olympics and pretty sure it was the first time Australia wasn't in the top 5.

Hooper looked good. Apparently the Comm games are just as hard in the middleweight class as the Olympics or world am championship when the number 1 fighter in the world is from India???????????????

I'm a pom, and am in england at the mo. but fly out in 2 weeks thank the lord! I'm over in Brisbane between 19th nov. and 1st dec for the 1st ashes test so I'm hoping there be some pro boxing in either brizzie or the gold coast, been getting into amateur boxing during these commonwealth games, if there's no pro boxing during the 2 weeks I'm there do you know where best to find any amateur shows??

Mate I'm not really all that fluent with AM stuff, I will keep my ears open and can ask a few blokes for ya, but if you can extend your stay by 2 days, you can see Jamie Myers great card.

The amatuer scoring is nothing short of pathetic. There needs to be something done about it. Body shots dont register, every round 4-5 clean punches arnt scored. Then a shot that does noting will score.

I enjoy watching Amatuers, And go down to most local Amatuer shows, but just see some of the young guys get ripped off time and time again.
