Johnson's a tough guy no doubt, but I also think Green helped Johnson look good, making so many amateurish mistakes. And Green was ahead on 2 of the scorecards at the time of the stoppage. If you fight the right fight against Johnson he's beatable. Tarver did the same thing to Johnson in their rematch too - outboxed him on the outside so he couldn't get his shots off. And let's be fair Johnson lost some of his fights fair and square, not all of them were the robberies he likes to claim. Plus, I wouldn't say Froch's boxing ability is new, you don't win a world amatuer medal without boxing skills, it's just he went back to basics instead of having his usual tear up[quote
The obvious counter to your

would be to bring up old Audley .. but thats picking hairs ... we all know the amateur and pro game are so vastly different nowadays.
I do however agree that Johnson is very beatable. I have never said Froch wouldn`t beat him.
I just look to the Woods fights with him ... Froch is a a better fighter again in my eyes ..
But just as you say Green made Johnson look good, I happen to think Abraham made Froch look better than he really is. Just take a look at all - every single fight - that Froch has had at top level.
Very hard work against Pascal, losing the fight up till 14 seconds from the end with Taylor and a clear loss to Kessler ...
and the Dirrel fight also.
