Quality of Kell Brook opponents compared to Matthew Hattpn

Post by leforge »

Matthew Hatton has fought better opponents recently than Brook. Brook needs to fight better opponents otherwise he going to come unstuck when he steps up.

Don't think you can say they are wildley better. N'dou was Hatton's only goodish opponent and Jenning's was Brooks' only goodish opponent. Hatton's last opponent was really below British title standard so id say they were about equal tbh

He'd struggle to beat me if he fought the way he ''fought'' against Brook.

I like Michael a lot but that was pathetic.

Hatton is a lucky guy an all the lads he has boxed are old men as for brook he hasn't been tested my brother Craig Watson beat the shit out of Hatton an has been in the ring with alot of good fighters i.e o donnell, witch he should have won, hatton , numembembe , lomax , barrie jones an stopped him in 4 alot quicker than brook . An also won the commonwelth title at light middle on 2 day notice in 2 rounds but gets no recognition after he has beat odonnel I would love to see him fight Hatton again or brook I no he would want it .

Watson is very unlucky. lets face it, after schooling Hatton, had he been promoted with the same lets call it zeal that other fighters have, imagine what Watson could do with the kind of opportunities Matt hatton or Brook have had.

Hatton's have been superior in the past couple of years.

All of Brook's opponents bar Jennings have had shaky chins and can't punch..... and Jennings was just crap on the night I'm afraid.

Hatton next EBU mandtory : http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ ... &cat=boxer

Hatton v Witter would be good. I think Watson beats O'Donnell then he should be challenging for EBU.

Do you really rate Matthew Hatton? I don't think Brook's as good as everybody says but he's clearly better than Ricky's talentless brother. You missed a blinding test by the way Dave.

No I think he an improving fighter. I just trying to say he had better opposition than Brook. Brook still untested imo.

I am gutted I missed it. I thought we were going to lose!

I think Brook knocks Hatton out at anytime of there career and I'll give you whatever odds you want. Did you go to the last prizefighter? And are you going to the Liverpool 11th dec bill mate?

Hatton hasn't boxed Jennings and lost to Watson - he's probably ranked 3rd in Manchester.

Brook has beaten everyone who has been put in front of him.

No watched on tv. Having people round to watch Dec 11th Bill. If it was London would go. Are you back in New Zealand now?

I like to see Brook v Hatton.

Sure there are plenty of question marks,

But I think Matt has improved a lot in the last couple of years since he left Billy Graham.

Seems more resilient and better all round. Others may be more natural, but especially in the case of jennings - inactivity has been his main downfall as he is always in shape.

Watson and O'Donnell are the 2 top dogs domestically for skills.

Mathew Hatton seems like a good bloke, and he has improved enormously, which is good to see, but I think Kell would do a number on him, and finish matters comfortably inside 5 rounds.
