KLITSCHKO'S ON EUROVISION!

Post by deadpan »

Both Wlad and Vit were on the show (from Kiev). They counted down the phone votes and indulged in some woeful pidgin English banter with the presenters.

Then Wlad was in the backstage area with the, er, 'talent', talking to last year's winner. He came across as remarkably camp, with a much higher voice than you'd expect. Even Wogan was nonplussed.

Norway were like some fucked up version of 'The Darkness'. Shockingly shit they were...

Funny how UK, France, Spain, and Germany (the four principles of Europe) came in as the bottom four! Shows what the rest of Europe thinks eh..!

Frankly (and I know they only do it for a laugh) I don't know why we (the UK) bother entering it...

Wig Wam is a tribute to 80es glam rock, and its not the first time they participate in the song contest, its a normal band and they have existed for some years.

And it was the best song eventhough they looked the way the did.

Wogan taking the piss out of the Klitchsko's was class.

"Get Woting, cause I'm a big boy" (in a deep Ukrainian voice) cracked me up.

As a passionate music lover Wladamir and Vitali should have punched in the face everyone involved with the dire Eurovision 'Song' Contest.

I really wonder how some songs qualified from their national competitions, other than they looked pretty they didnt have anything to offer.

I thought Vitali wasn't able to fly because of his back operation?

Freiheit - You seem to forget... in many countries its not taken even vaguely seriously. Perhaps in Denmark, Croatia, Moldova.. and.. Serbia-Montenegro it is... but come on ... if the UK was serious about winning it do you think we'd enter 'Javine'...?

That was funny as. Big Wlad: "You know Ruslana, the Eurovision Song Contest is a lot like boxing."
Ruslana: "What, you mean if Lamon Brewster entered, you would get kicked to fornicate in five rounds?"

OK, I made the last bit up. But that was some very funny shit for anyone who missed it.

Didn't say I wouldn't fornicate her. Doesn't mean she's nice though :)

Seemed Vitali was ok after having surgery though. That Eurovision just shows how music is in Europe are. Just a musical version of that show Euro trash on channel 4.

I would touch Javines Fire though.

When Wladdy was backstage and doing the ridiculous interview where he held the horseshoes, the girl with him was pretending to punch him in the face. Good thing she didn't accidentally connect with any of those - would have smashed Wladdys glass jaw into a million pieces and left him out cold on the ground.
