KLITSCHKO'S ON EUROVISION!
KLITSCHKO'S ON EUROVISION!
Both Wlad and Vit were on the show (from Kiev). They counted down the phone votes and indulged in some woeful pidgin English banter with the presenters.
Then Wlad was in the backstage area with the, er, 'talent', talking to last year's winner. He came across as remarkably camp, with a much higher voice than you'd expect. Even Wogan was nonplussed.

Norway were like some fucked up version of 'The Darkness'. Shockingly shit they were...Freiheit wrote:Why do I keep watching the show each year.....
Danish commentator called them Stepkos
Norway should have won.
Funny how UK, France, Spain, and Germany (the four principles of Europe) came in as the bottom four! Shows what the rest of Europe thinks eh..!
Frankly (and I know they only do it for a laugh) I don't know why we (the UK) bother entering it...
Freiheit - You seem to forget... in many countries its not taken even vaguely seriously. Perhaps in Denmark, Croatia, Moldova.. and.. Serbia-Montenegro it is... but come on ... if the UK was serious about winning it do you think we'd enter 'Javine'...?Freiheit wrote:I really wonder how some songs qualified from their national competitions, other than they looked pretty they didnt have anything to offer.

That was funny as. Big Wlad: "You know Ruslana, the Eurovision Song Contest is a lot like boxing."deadpan wrote:Both Wlad and Vit were on the show (from Kiev). They counted down the phone votes and indulged in some woeful pidgin English banter with the presenters.

Ruslana: "What, you mean if Lamon Brewster entered, you would get kicked to fornicate in five rounds?"
OK, I made the last bit up. But that was some very funny shit for anyone who missed it.
We dont take it seriously at all, we booed when we got points, we dont want to win it again.Loftgroov wrote:Freiheit - You seem to forget... in many countries its not taken even vaguely seriously. When Wladdy was backstage and doing the ridiculous interview where he held the horseshoes, the girl with him was pretending to punch him in the face. Good thing she didn't accidentally connect with any of those - would have smashed Wladdys glass jaw into a million pieces and left him out cold on the ground.
