No need to be Gomez - that was a fine performance from a British fighter in Vegas - surely you were a little tiny bit happy to watch Amir tump down the bandera waving Malvinas lovin' Argie... I was and I lived in Argentina!G0mez wrote:No my first name is Sul.Carlos-Wigan wrote:I didn't know you were Chinese Gomez - is your first name Wan?G0mez wrote:I'm changing my middle name to 'King' by deed poll.

Truth is, I realised that the one person in that ring who really needed knocking out was Joe Cortez.Carlos-Wigan wrote: No need to be Gomez - that was a fine performance from a British fighter in Vegas - surely you were a little tiny bit happy to watch Amir tump down the bandera waving Malvinas lovin' Argie... He was absolutely woeful. Standing in the action, interfering constantly. Marching Maidana to his corner at every round end. Ignoring the constant holding of the arm by khan, failing to address a couple of low blows by Maidana. As they circled each other, he made it his mission to stand in their way rather than follow it.

Cortez was poor last night - he isn't a poor referee usually but he can be paid to be poor can't he?G0mez wrote:Truth is, I realised that the one person in that ring who really needed knocking out was Joe Cortez.Carlos-Wigan wrote: No need to be Gomez - that was a fine performance from a British fighter in Vegas - surely you were a little tiny bit happy to watch Amir tump down the bandera waving Malvinas lovin' Argie...
