i did like the idea though, good for a giggle.
i think there could be a place for circus stuff like this, but as part of a good card of proper fights. would generate some "mainstream" interest and hopefully get people to realise that boxing is still a good sport to watch at that level and its not always the mundine/mayweather/green/haye type rot that can be handed out to us

First of all, SBW needs boxing to top up his bank account like he needs a third armpit. He is a 25 year old dual international for christs sake. He donated his last purse 50 thousand dollars to charity. I think you will find he did the same in his first fight. His next fight will be his first against a genuine ranked heavy. He says he is keen to test himself in the boxing scene and that is fair enough,footballers have been dabbling in boxing for as long as i can remember. So whats the big deal with all the circus comments? I just had a look at the number 1 boxrec rank for Aussie heavies- Alex Leapai, Alex had his 23rd fight against an opponent with the outstanding record of 0wins and 12 losses and youse reckon SBW makes a mockery of boxing
