Last seen at the Lindsay-Simpson fight, he pinched somebodys programme off their seat and when challenged about it went off on some rant and nearly got another hiding :lol:

Everyones saying how his post fight comments were out of order and how he should come on here and explain himself. A little newsflash! Maybe hes taking his time getting involved again, having a nice boxingless Christmas with his family to recharge his batteries and we'll see him again in the new year. Couldn't begrudge him that really meself, it just seems some of yous want him here to have a go at him. Maybe thats why hes leaving all this crap till 2011.

Its sad really for fans to come on and have a pop at fighters, I wonder if any have ever been a fighter living like a monk, dieting, mood swings, sacrifices, sparring, running, etc?? Paul just seems an honest guy who says it as he sees it, this is a forum aint it were we express our opinions?? If people keep slating fighters everytime they lose why will they come on and express their opinions which is a bonus for the fans on here?? Cuckoo leave the guy alone

If a boxer posts on here, Lirva will slag him off. Similarly there are posters who will kiss their arses which is equally annoying.

Without mentioning names there are boxers(as well as promoters, trainers, teaboys etc.) who post on here who are ripe for a slagging with their stinky attitude, I'm pretty sure most people know who they are.

Smith got beat by a much better fighther. Thats it. Thats boxing and it happens lots of times and if Smith fights on the chances are it will happen again. Its not the end of the world, its only boxing. He still has his health.

And by the way Liam there are quite a few on here who do have a clue and who have had gloves on.

There should a separate sub forum on here for people who have "laced up a glove" or "stepped into the ring" as if you have it seems your knowledge of boxing is far superior to anybody who hasn't :lol:

Knowledge is a very broad term. However, there is no substitute for first hand experience.

Liam's comment was rather flippant though, as there are many on here who havent boxed but have deep knowledge of the sport and great passion too. His comments had a hint of spite in them too. I can, however, understand his emotion, if not very much of his post, due to it not being written in English.

The key imo is to get back in the ring asap in the new year.

I hope he doesnt do the thing a lot of fighters do after a loss like this : take a big layoff change trainers etc etc

He wasnt doing anything wrong got beaten by a better fighter on the night who is an exceptional talent. He should have a few 8 rounders get his confidence back up and then go for the Commonwealth whoever is holding it by the end of the year.
