But this will be co-main feature due to Dzinziruks lack of name recognition.
Its on March 12 so St. Patricks week but Foxwoods is a bit of a bitch to get to - would be more suited to the Theatre of the MSG

New York is the place to be for St Patricks week (was there myself last year) the city is generally buzzing. Duddy has a history of selling out the Theatre on St. Patricks week against relatively unknown fighters so with Martinez on the bill and a fight against Lee lined up then I think he might have a chance of selling out the main venue.bennie wrote:slapbangwhallop wrote:HBO prefered to run with Dzinziruk.

Er, I think it would be more suited to Ireland.
If true is massively takes the shine off my day and probably the card. But still harks well for them fighting next.bennie wrote:George Kimball is saying that both Lee and Duddy are on Foxwoods bill but against separate opponents.
Yep, all true. Would be a perfect fight for NYC.slapbangwhallop wrote:New York is the place to be for St Patricks week (was there myself last year) the city is generally buzzing. Plus a fight in Ireland cant bring the HBO money or the exposure. Duddy is a much bigger fighter in the States than in Ireland, Lee has greater name recognition than Duddy at home.
thats the error you picked out!Deno1986 wrote:Slight error in your post, Bennie - Lee is 26, not 28.

Well I know you're not asking me, but the 12th isn't Saint Patrick's week. Your post also gives the impression that Manny Steward is Andy Lee's head trainer, which he isn't. You managed to get your biased depiction of the Vera loss in nice and early which is commendable, and although this bit is only opinion, John Duddy's chance comes late in the fight(if he can get there), not early where Lee will probably control things at range. I also believe a Lee stoppage win is likely.bennie wrote:What error did you pick out?slapbangwhallop wrote:thats the error you picked out!Deno1986 wrote:Slight error in your post, Bennie - Lee is 26, not 28.

But besides that you did alright
Enlighten me then, where have I shown bias ?bennie wrote:BigEars wrote:Well I know you're not asking me, but the 12th isn't Saint Patrick's week. Accusing me of bias really is the pot...

You are quick to throw around accusations of bias whenever an Irish poster considers that an Irish fighter has even the most remote chance of winning a fight or the slightest modicum of talent. In fact an Irish poster must go against every Irish fighter in every fight to avoid accusations of bias on here. Ironically, your posts are some of the most embarrassing on BoxRec, full of inaccuracies or blatant bias - you are not alone in that.
I am not sure if they are opinions that you truly hold or if they are poor attempts at wind-ups but I for one find them tedious and tiresome.
Toodle-pip old chap!
How about the beginning, ever so often skipping to the end, and then finish in the middle.bennie wrote:Where do I start.BigEars wrote:Enlighten me then, where have I shown bias ?bennie wrote:

Aer Lingus fly into Boston from Dublin. From Boston it's around 2 hours drive/bus journey to Mashantucket. I just done a quick search on flight prices and it's the bones of €500 return. Greyhound coaches go from the airport in Boston straight to Foxwoods where the fight is on. The coach will cost around $30 e/w.dutchie wrote:Whats the best way to get to fight?
