Yep, but he'll just retire again, like he did last time I tried to get a fight with him.

I've got more skill in my left hand than your boy, I don't know you, and you're definitely a smart arse for some one who doesn't know me. I said I'll fight Paul, I will fight Paul. Murry's show is six weeks a wya, that'll be fine but it won't be at 80, I'll need more time if you wan't it at 80.

fornicate me, what happened here last night????
lets start this over again with some facts, i never came on here to be nasty, just having a stir.
Dale you can insult me all you want but you know you would never make the weight. I know you would have loved to have a crack when you were younger but even back in the am's, weight and the fact you didnt train properly, was your restriction. i will say, the one thing you had going for you was your brick like head. Its funny that people with these unbreakable, unknockoutable heads think they dont need to train hard cos they can limp through fights.
I never claimed to be anything i am not, for the past couple of years i have never fought unless i am fight and ready. Good luck for the future, this has become something i am not interested in.

Ok, this is my last post in this thread.
I came on here to stir a few things not make enemies. I would fight Mark again, but only to prove to him that I would beat him again as i done it convincingly to all that were there last time.
Dale, you never offered to fight me. I heard that through someone that heard it from someone, but i am not a heavyweight and neither are you but the scales have always been a touch nicer to me.
Dale you know as well as i do you have not been 80 since well before 2000 when i watched you struggle at moorabbin, even saying you would like to fight me is laughable. We are all getting too old for this shit but the only one in this thread who is over 30 and still fit is me, and at least i can say i actually have a go at it.
Stu, stop being nasty please. I reckon a great fight would be Stu V Dale. Two blokes whos heads cannot be broken with sledgehammers, Stu talk to murray and get it happening asap.
You know you both want it.

Wasnt tryin to be nasty sorry if it came across that way just stickin up for my old mate. Be a funny fight with dale think we would have to wear twenty ounce gloves so we didnt hurt our hands on each others heads. Be like two bulls at each other. Anyway dale as paul said we gettin too old for this shit so sorry if i offended u

Your right Paul, we are starting to get to old for this, hence I'm going to give it one last go, I'm training to get back into the ring again for a few fights before it is too late I did struggle at Moorabin in 2001 against Benny Stamford, a fight I never trained for as you know (I was effectively training my self then and can tell you any one who trains themselves has a fool for a trainer), I was never hurt in that fight, in fact edged the last round, but I was never fit for it.

I weighed in at 77kg six months earlier when I stopped that super heavy, giving away over 30kg, at the Ettimoga Pub and got disqualified.

This time around I'm taking it very seriously, instead of just jumping in to have a bit of fun. I will be ready for the ring around about the end of April and will be campaigning at 80kg.

As for my thinking of winning a fight against you being laughable, well there has been a lot of water under the bridge since the last time we trained together, during those very amateurish days at Keysborough, since then I got back to training like I did in the early mid nineties, become Dale Westerman's primary sparring partner for a couple of years, helped Nick Kara train some good fighters and done a lot of solid rounds with some good names. I will concede that I have taken a couple of years off since the birth of my son to spend with my family but make no mistake, I won't be fornicating around like I did at Keysborough.

Oh, by and by, alls good, no enemies here I mean you no disrespect and my hat goes off to you for getting in and having a go, you certainly have shown courage, Aussie boxing would be all the better if more people jumped in and had a crack and tested themselves as you have. You didn't take the easy options, I had to laugh out loud at your 'Pad Thai' comment.

Good luck.

Good to hear Dale, and I agree, I woke up to that when i left Keysborough gym, realising i was only there because the trainer would let you jump into the ring straight out of the pub and he should never have been given a license. I am around and am still sparring if you need some let me know, i am still very fit. My number is 0408361979.
stu, you have always got my back, cheers. i will see you this arvo, you can also help me mow the lawns if your keen
