I have filmed boxing since 1987, I own the largest private fight tape library in Europe.
I had licences with the BBBof C= Manager, Agent, Trainer, Second, MC.
I have been very much involved with Frank Maloney, and i am mentioned many times in his book, know near enough most people in the Boxing scene both am and pro....
and when I talk about something, its from 1st hand knowledge, not whispers!!! as i would have been there at that time....

What do you guys do ? just ask for a photo instead of an autograph ? id rather have a photo than an autograph , I should have got one done with tyson Fury when i spoke to him following his debut , he mingled in the crowd quite a lot that night .
Ive done a lot of coaching plus my brother played at a fairly high standard (County Level and played semi pro too for Eastwood Town) so quite a few , the most famous at the moment are probably jermaine Jenas (Tottenham) and Jermaine Pennant (Stoke) who both played for me , theres also Tom Huddleston (Tottenham) and Leon Best (Newcastle) that played in the same team as my brother when he was at Nottingham city schools rep side , all 4 of those are Internationals (3 for england) (pennant only played under 21s though) and all currently play in the premiership , the most famous boxer is either the one who fights for me white collar (Nathan McIntosh) or Karl Chiverton , neither exactly household names .lefty wrote:You know more than me!P.s what footballers do you know?damianhucker1 wrote:Im rather envious of all these pictures , i know quite a few footballers , to an extent that asking for a picture with them would seem a bit gay , maybe thats why ive not asked for any pics with boxers , but it would be different totally as i only know maybe half a dozen pro boxers and the most famous isnt really known at all , ive got one that fights for me now but hes not really a photo op .

I have to be honest,im not the biggest fan of jenas's and always thought he was pretty overrated! So what side was it you were coaching when they were under you?Was this just a kids team?damianhucker1 wrote:Ive done a lot of coaching plus my brother played at a fairly high standard (County Level and played semi pro too for Eastwood Town) so quite a few , the most famous at the moment are probably jermaine Jenas (Tottenham) and Jermaine Pennant (Stoke) who both played for me , theres also Tom Huddleston (Tottenham) and Leon Best (Newcastle) that played in the same team as my brother when he was at Nottingham city schools rep side , all 4 of those are Internationals (3 for england) (pennant only played under 21s though) and all currently play in the premiership , the most famous boxer is either the one who fights for me white collar (Nathan McIntosh) or Karl Chiverton , neither exactly household names .lefty wrote:You know more than me!P.s what footballers do you know?damianhucker1 wrote:Im rather envious of all these pictures , i know quite a few footballers , to an extent that asking for a picture with them would seem a bit gay , maybe thats why ive not asked for any pics with boxers , but it would be different totally as i only know maybe half a dozen pro boxers and the most famous isnt really known at all , ive got one that fights for me now but hes not really a photo op .

I had Jenas and Pennant both together as kids at under 12s in the first team i ever managed , they both got picked up y pro clubs after that season (Jenas by Forest and Pennant by Notts County ) but i went on to be a youth scout at Forest a few seasons later too and im still registed as a scout but havent done anything to do with football for a while now.lefty wrote:I have to be honest,im not the biggest fan of jenas's and always thought he was pretty overrated! So what side was it you were coaching when they were under you?Was this just a kids team?damianhucker1 wrote:Ive done a lot of coaching plus my brother played at a fairly high standard (County Level and played semi pro too for Eastwood Town) so quite a few , the most famous at the moment are probably jermaine Jenas (Tottenham) and Jermaine Pennant (Stoke) who both played for me , theres also Tom Huddleston (Tottenham) and Leon Best (Newcastle) that played in the same team as my brother when he was at Nottingham city schools rep side , all 4 of those are Internationals (3 for england) (pennant only played under 21s though) and all currently play in the premiership , the most famous boxer is either the one who fights for me white collar (Nathan McIntosh) or Karl Chiverton , neither exactly household names .lefty wrote: You know more than me!P.s what footballers do you know?
