You're still saying the piece had little news value - but you've already said elsewhere you didn't understand the value of the story because you had been out of the loop. 'Trust me', for about 18 minutes and for the 13 people in the country who were in that loop, it was hot stuff!

OK. I'll try to avoid taking my girlfriend away for a couple of days in future, in case I miss any more "hot" items on the BoxRec rumour mill. Or maybe someone could set up an SMS alerts service for those times when I just can't get online and no titles are vacated, no extra titles are attached to a fight, a fight isn't cancelled and television coverage isn't pulled. 8)

PS Charlie Zelenoff has set up his own sanctioning body, the WUBO (I'm actually serious). It's not too late for Sky to call him for sanctioning approval, and although it's too late for him to fly over with a belt to give the winner, they could just do what he did and buy one off Amazon for $30.
