I see it like this: Saddler beats both Sanchez and Arguello. Too strong, too fierce, underrated skills. Duran beats Kostya and Whitaker. Think 6-8 for the Russian, and 5-9 for Whitaker. Duran would walk through all that cute crap and Pernell had zero to give back. At 147 Robinson easily beats Leonard probably by KO @the 8th, though Leonard's pride may have kept him up thru 10. Napole eats Hearns. Too much skill; like a novice vs. a pro. Tommy never met a punch he could take, and Napoles was more skilled than and hit harder than Leonard. KO in4. I'll go with Greb over Hagler. The Monzon fight has always intrigued me. Sometimes I think Monzon would hypnotize Hagler into thinking to much and outpoint him, then I think Monzon didn't train a heap and Marvin would outwork him and win. Spinks beats Jones at 175 within a round after landing his first clean right hand. RJJ has no business in the ring with the guy I consider the all-time #1 (ranked top 10 at MW, Top 5 at LHW, 8title defenses at HW) Charles was fast, strong, technically rock solid, fight inside or outside.

I like your thoughts on Monzon-Hagler I feel the same uncertainty, though surely Monzon must have trained hard as he was in some real wars and never seemed short of stamina.

Not sure about Hearns-Napoles. Napoles can win the fight, no doubt, and yes Hearns was chinny, but he always gave a good fight. I watch the first SRL fight and Tommy dominated most of the fight. I think they stopped it too early.

True, and Napoles had a tendency to cut up around the eyes. Michael Spinks beats the tar out of RJJ; too smart hits too hard..

I think Monzon would outpoint Hagler in a decision fight. While Monzon's training can fairly be questioned, he did get up for the biggest fights (Napoles, Benvenuti, Valdez). He has too much pride to take a fighter like Hagler lightly if they were to fight. Hagler's problem is that as a counterpuncher, he doesn't lead much. With Monzon sticking out his jab, probably the best in the history of the division, it would keep Hagler on the outside. If Hagler bulled his way in, Monzon could tie him up inside and smother him with his length. I like Monzon in the fight although Hagler would give anyone a tough fight at middleweight.

Roy Jones would outpoint mike spinks. roy jones is way too talented an has way to much speed for spinks. Roy Jones is the better boxer.
