Re: Bill the bomb
To be honest I don't know Simon. I suppose he just goes off like a bomb when upset . Think he could bang a bit too
Re: Bill the bomb
Cheers Johnny; when you on next? Please give me a nod when you're in this neck of the woods (south yorkshire), there'll be a few of us and we can shout a bit. ![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

Re: Bill the bomb
Sorry southpaw. I weren't biting I was just letting you know. For the record, you were right, people do get up his hole. & Christ , the amount of lemons that have third to tell me their best mates or related, some young impressionable boys really look up to that sort of thing.
Re: Bill the bomb
Johnny, was Jango involved in the unlicensed or bare knuckle boxing scene like Roy Shaw?

Re: Bill the bomb
Yeh, to be honest , I don't know, think southpaw is right as is never heard about much on the unlicensed scene. I had 45 on them & some of the old faces have been on the unlicensed circuit for years & never dealt with him.
Re: Bill the bomb
Imagine being put in a cell with that man. I bet the screws could tell a few tales.

Rather him than Purple Aki - lets hope one day Purple Aki makes a visit to the eastend - they would all go running for cover!Eddy wrote:Imagine being put in a cell with that with man. I bet the screws could tell a few tales.
Re: Bill the bomb
The dad of a mate of mine is a security guard in a shopping centre in Preston and had to tackle Purple Aki a couple of years ago (I cant remember what it was he'd done now). It took four security guards to keep him pinned to the floor. :)
Saw him once when i was about 16 in WH Smiths in Wigan reading the bodybuilding mags. I didnt hang around. But then he'd not have much interest in me anyway being only 5 foot 6 and 9 stone wet through.

Re: Bill the bomb
I put all of his new infamy down to his publicist Carlos-Wigan. Single handedly promoting this nut-job for a decade;-)
Re: Bill the bomb
Can't say I've ever heard of that fella mate. I suppose every place has it's "characters."
Lenny Mclean, Hoxton;
Billy Williams, Canning Town; (very feared)
Roy Shaw, Dagenham;
Paul Sykes, Wakefeild.
Just looked up that bloke (purple Aki), he's not a fighter, ...just a nonce case. :!:

I've just googled him (Aki) as well; he's not a well man at all is he?

Re: Bill the bomb
Is he a bully with it or only does something if you get mouthy,etc?Eddy wrote:True with most cases, but Bill went to the states; was Muhhammed Alis sparring partner for some time, He got up to a lot of mischief in his day, done plenty of porrige, had plenty of rows, (people,screws,police) is a very interesting story.
Re: Bill the bomb
There was a man in Edlington, Doncaster like that. He'd go out on the lash and batter his mates; if he were drunk enough he'd pick some dog shit up and eat it for a laugh. Orbtastic will know of him; his initials were PK (there was grafitti on The Royal pub in Edlo saying 'Free PK')
Re: Bill the bomb
I know a man from Donny who ate horse shit, but not dog shit.
