I agree, awesome atmostphere. Took me back to the days when Ricky Hatton fought there.FeargalóCuinneagáin wrote:The atmosphere at the MEN on saturday was fúcking epic. The place was dead for the whole undercard, with the exception of Martin Murray's band of fans. Murray's fans brought alot of colour and singing to the arena. They seemed like a good bunch.
When Dudey entered the arena the roof nearly lifted. There was a great buzz around for the whole fight. Gutted the way it ended, would have prefered to see Dudey get KO'ed than the way it finished. Even with the referee and "Doctor's " crazy decision to stop the fight, there was never a moment that I though any sort of violence would break out.

10,000 ?, with that sort of number not only must all English people in the arena have been Khan fans but a reasonable number of the Irish as well.gobbles wrote:Apart from the 10,000 Khan fansdiggler wrote:seen a irish man wearing a flag as a turban, it was a awful nights boxing the show was saved by the irish fans without them the show would of been near on empty
