I think it had a lot more to do with money than with any fear on the part of either man. They are both pretty good businessmen, and probably both wanted more than 50%.....and if I have my math right....that can't happen.

I think it was announced but it probably broke down over money. Foreman always the more marketable and Holmes the more greedy.
